Nikki's P.O.V

It is currently 5 in the morning. My alarm doesn't go off for another half hour. I'd go back to sleep but I can't. Might as well drag my ass out of bed and get in the shower. I reach over and turn off my alarm then swing my legs over the side of the bed, stand up, and walk over to my closet. What am I going to wear? After about 10 minutes of deliberation I decide on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and one of my Green Day shirts.

I take my sweet time in the shower. Sweet time being 20 minutes. I get out and wrap my towel around myself and begin to work on my recently dyed red hair and do my makeup. I know it seems like a stupid idea to do my hair then get dressed but it gives my hair the slightly messy look I like.

As I walk out of the bathroom I check the time. Great. It's 6:30. I pull on my slightly roughed up converse and make my way downstairs. I grab some poptarts because those things are fucking delicious and hug my mom to say bye. Me and my mom have grown really close in the past three years since my dad left for another woman. She's the only family I have. No siblings. My grandparents past away and my mom doesn't have any siblings.

I was broken from my thoughts as I heard the alarm I set up on my phone telling me that I have to leave. I grab my keys and walk out to my car. One more year of hell then I'm done. I'm not planning on going to college. I already have a photography job waiting for me in California. That job is at AP magazine. I can't wait for the school year to be over
