“You assholes.” I growl at Jack and Alex before following Pierce up the stairs. I step outside just in time to see Kyle with his hands on her hips lean down for a kiss which I can tell she returned.
“I love you.” He whispers to her just loud enough for me to hear. For some reason it felt like a little piece inside of me went dry and lifeless. I start to turn to go back into my house. Away from the humiliation that would probably come of me staying out here and having Kyle see me. I hear the soft pad of three sets of feet running up stairs when he does it. I’m only able to see from the corner of my eye as Kyle lifts his fist and slams it into Pierce’s temple.
“PIERCE!” I shout without thought drawing the attention of Kyle and getting Zack, Alex and Jack to burst out of the side door.
“What do you want fag?” Kyle spits at me “Stay the fuck away from my girl.” He growls and steps up closer to touch Pierce. That part that went dry inside of me? Well it burst into flames.
“Rian!” Zack shouts from behind me as I lurch forward running as fast as I can at the idiot before he gets too close to her. I manage to body slam him throwing him back a few steps and making him loose his balance for a second but only to have me fall back on my ass on the gravel of my mothers driveway.
“You Shit!” Kyle shouts and steps forward landing a clean kick to my gut. My stomach lurches and I feel the contents spill out of my mouth into the street. I curl onto the ground just as I see Zack run up to him right-hooking Kyle’s cheekbone. Kyle turns and Jack Launches himself somehow wrapping his scrawny little legs around Kyle’s waist and bites his ear.
“The fuck!?” Kyle shouts and shakes Jack off somehow before running down my driveway to what must be his car.
“Dude! Rian are you okay?” Alex shouts from behind me, I manage to pull myself to a sitting position, stomach just hurts a bit but I’m fine.
“I’m good.” I turn to look at Alex who’s by Pierce, looking clearly uncertain as hell.
“WOO HOO!” Jack shouts enthusiastically from the ground where he lays on his back after getting thrown off of the huge football player.
“We have to get her inside.” Zack says quickly and reaches his hand out pulling me to my feet, I walk over to Pierce as soon as I can Zack on my side, He leans down and scoops her up in his arms my stomach tightens a little bit in what feels like jealousy.
“Jack! Get the door!” Alex shouts and picks up all of her things off the ground where she dropped them when she was hit.
“Bring her up to my room.” I snap and reach the door before Jack,
“Shouldn’t we bring her to the hospital?” Alex almost shouts.
“Do you really think that bringing her to the hospital and getting nurses and lawers and shit involved would be good for her?” I snap at him more harshly then nessisary.
“Good point.” He mutters, Zack reaches the door and starts to make his way up to the second floor of my house, thank god my mother needed groceries and is out for the next couple hours. For some reason she takes the longest time to decide what brand of food to get whenever she’s at the store.
“She’s waking back up.” Zack calls down from in front of me
