Flirting, Guilt and Jalex [Part Two]
It turns out that Alex and Jack's project actually isn't called 'Get Down On Your Knees And Tell Me You Love Me'.
That is a song they've wrote together but the one for their project is called 'A Daydream Away'. Now, the song is clearly sang to a girl and them two being the most popular/class clowns in the class, will only get people joking about them two being gay together. But honestly, I could imagine it.
''Aw'' I mutter under my breath. Rian pulls a face at me, curiously. I chuckled and shake my head. He gives me a star-stunning smile and puts his head down, writing.
I like the way this class is laid out. One half of the desks are placed on the right side facing the left, and the others placed left, facing the right. In total, there's six rows so three rows of desks on each side. I'm in the second row on the right, and Rian's on the front row on the left. Jack and Alex are on the end of the front row on my side. Rebecca the Bitch is sat next to Rian, highly flirting with him.
To be honest, it isn't bothering me. I know Ry wouldn't cheat, he loves me. He said so. At least...I think he loves me. He could of been lying. It's the guilt thing again. He only feels guilty, doesn't he?
I glance up at him, quickly. His eyes are glued to his book, one hand on the back of his neck and his elbow resting on the desk whilst the other hand grips the pen and writes furiously. He's so lost in his own world, he doesn't notice Rebecca continuously tapping his shoulder, her slim legs crossed and her bright red lips smirking, flirtatiously.
Her eyes snap over to me, and our eyes lock in a deathly glare. Mentally, she's screaming abuse words; emo, ugly, disgusting. Mentally, I'm screaming them back. Except the emo part. I haven't seen her wrist before so I can't judge.
But why would she self harm? Her life is perfect. Perfect body, perfect smile, perfect parents, everything. She's Little Miss Perfect to me. To myself, I'm Little Miss Emo.
On the other hand, I haven't self harmed since I got home from the hospital. Rian's been helping me forget. Forget all my negative feeling and replacing them with his love. He's so caring, so kind and sweet. His cared for me so much. I do love him, I do, physically. He's perfect and so is our relationship. I'm not, though, everyone knows that.
The bell rings suddenly and everyone leaps from their seats and heads out the door. I slowly raise from my desk and clutch my satchel. Pulling it onto my shoulder, I head out the door. Automatically a pair of arms grab my waist and spin me round in the air. I scream playfully and squirm under the person's hold. Finally being realised, I spin round to be face to face with...Jack?
''Jack? I thought you was Rian'' I laugh, playfully punching his lanky shoulder. He smiles, shyly and runs a hand through his hair. ''You okay? Where is Ry anyway?'' I ask.
''Um, Rian quickly ran toilet and I was just wondering if you'd like to come over to mine tonight?'' he blurts out.
I stand, shocked. Jack was inviting me to his house, just the two of us? ''Um, will Rian be there?'' I wonder, aloud.
''Uh, no. Just me and you...if you're coming?'' he replies, running a hand through his hair again. I shrug my shoulders. Why not? Jack's my friend, who I trust. Why would he put me in danger? I see the whole thing completely innocent.
''Sure, see you tonight'' I smile.
''I'll get your number from Ry and text you my address and time, okay?'' he smiles in reply. I nod quickly and head to my next class.

The text reads ''34 Thames Street and be there in no less than ten ;)''.
I smile at Jack's message and grab my bag. I quickly make my way out the door and head out into the warm street.
The sun is just setting, so everywhere is lit up in bright orange. My converse gently pad along the pavement as I plug in my earphones. I choose 'Exits And Entrances' by We Are The In Crowd and quickly rush to Jack's. It's only two blocks away so I'm there in less than ten, like he asked.
I tap gently on the door only to be met with a tear-filled Jack. I gasp and wrap my arms around him suddenly. He sobs into my shoulder, loudly. I shuffled inside and close the door behind me. Once the door is closed, he pulls away and wipes his eyes.
''Jacky, what's wrong?'' I ask, rubbing his upper arm. He sniffs and coughs, then speaks.
''It's Alex'' he whispers. My eyes open widely and take his hand. Having no idea whatsoever, I try and find his room. I lead him upstairs and automatically choose the door with a Blink 182 poster on it. I push open the door and place us both on the bed.
''Now, tell me everything'' I say.
He wipes away another tear. There's a pause then he speaks.
''Well, the song we wrote together 'A Daydream Away'?'' he says. I nod quickly. ''Well, Alex said he was writing it about that cheerleader, Lisa? And I said I was writing it about Lisa's mate, Holly? But really, I was writing it about him'' Jack sobs.
I clutch him tightly as realiation hits me. Holy shit! Jack's gay...for Alex! So,
Jalex is real! I chuckle slightly at the cute nickname I made and continue to comfort him.
''So, the problem?'' I continue.
''Alex has made it clear that he really likes Lisa, and I made up that I was writing about Holly to cover up I like him. But the thing is, I was planning to announce to him after we performed the song that I love him but tonight...'' Jack's voice broke suddenly and released a few batch of tears. I rub his back and make small circles.
''...he's gone...on a date...with Lisa...'' he whispers.
After an hour of Jack's sobbing and me comforting him, the crying stops. I have to leave for my dinner but leave Jack with one piece of hope.
''My life was shit as fuck then I saw light when Rian saved me. I thought I would never find love, being with a prick like Kyle. So, if you love Alex, then I won't stop until he's yours'' I smile then make my way down the street.
