Maybe one rainy night was all I needed.
There is a boy I've never met before on my door step.
I walked through the streets of Baltimore. There was literally nothing to do. I saw a little Icecream shop, deciding I’d give it a shot. Hey, maybe someone cute would happen to walk in. Nodding my head at the thought, I walked into the shop. Nobody intresting seemed to be around, so I grabbed a vanilla icecream, and payed for it.
My names Leah. I have a boring life really. Average job at a video store, average apartment, average eveything. Not much happens when I’m around. I wish something cool would happen to me for once...Just once.
I walked back out into the warm summer rays of Baltimore. I loved this city. Alot of cool stuff around. But I want something Extrodinary to happen. The walk to my apartement wasn’t very far, so I got there just as I finished my icecream.
I live in an apartment building with my Wolf. Well, he wasn’t a full wolf, but a guy gave me my dog when she was puppy, telling me her mom and dad were a siberian, an a wolf. Her name is Nava, and is literally my bestfriend. Not much people around here like me because I’m to quiet. I have two friends, but they live along ways away, just outside of Baltimore. I visit them everynow and then.

The night sky shined in my face. Stars were my most favorite thing, and I just loved the way they looked. A shooting star passed by, and I closed my eyes making a wish. ‘I want something extrordinary to happen...Something diffrent then my ordinary routine for once.’ My life was just to dull. I knew a star wasn’t going to help, but it really was worth a shot. My eyes were begining to get heavy, as the clock clicked to 3am. I had work tomorrow, so I better get to bed. I shuffled across the floor, to my bedroom. When my head hit the pillow, I was fast asleep.
Waking up to thunder was the worst thing for me. It terrified me. But there was a knocking at my door, that really scared me. Who knocks on someones door at 5 in the morning, in a thunderstorm? With a groan, I reluctanly got up to answer the door. What if it was a murderer? I bit my lip, turning the nob. Well, if he was a murderer he’d be the cutest killer I’ve ever seen. His hair was wet, but I could still tell it was a dark brown. The boys eyes were a deep brown. Not the really dark brown that’s almost black, but a brown that would make me think he’s a sweet guy.
He was shaking, clinging onto his jacket sleeves. “M-may I come in?” I couldn’t speak, the best I could do was get out of the way for him to walk in. “Sorry aout the random arrival. You were the only person with there porch light on, and I just got kicked out of my house not to far from here...Can I crash here, I promise I’ll be out by tomorrow.
I rubed my face, knowing I wasn’t going back to sleep. “Sure. Help yourself to anything in the fridge. Oh, and really, you can stay here as long as you like.” I smiled at him.
Nava jumped on him, licking his face.
“Holy shit, this is a huge dog!” I laughed at his reaction.
“His parents were a wolf and siberian husky. She was so cute as a puppy, and she gew really fast.” I opened up a drawer, handing him a blanket.
“Oh, and I have some of my ex’s clothes you can borrow, he was about your size, if not bigger.” I handed him a pair of jeans and shirt.
“Thanks...I don’t think I caught your name yet?” He smiled, taking the clothes.
“Leah. and you?”
“Alex.”
I grinned at the stranger infront of me. “Well I have work tomorrow, so here is an extra key to my apartment if you ever need to get out for like, new clothes or go pick up your clothes at your house.”
He took the key, looking at it. “Why would you let a complete stanger walk in your home, then give him an extra key?”
He looked at me. “Well, I wouldn’t be liying if I said it helps that you’re cute.” I laughed, so did he. “But really. Nothing cool happens in my life. Kind of a coincidence that you show up on the night I made a wish on a star. I wished for something extrodinary to happen.” I ran a hand through my messy hair.
Alex smiled, nodding his head. “That is pretty cool. Well, I’m just gonna crash on your couch alright?”
I nodded waving at him. “Oh go ahead. I have to get ready for work anyway.” Just as I finished my sentene, my alarm went off. He giggled.
“Alright, thanks so much by the way.
I nodded. “No problem.”
