Request: Can you do one about Alex and are close friends in high-school and all our friends ship us as a couple until one day Alex surprises me and asks me out in front of them all and my name is Alex so idk how it'll work you can call my Lex or Lexxy or something xD


Alex

I had just got ready for school, and was waiting outside for my best friend Alex to pick me up. Alex and I have been best friends since we were about the age of six, and we were now both seniors in high school. Alex and I both have the same name, so everyone calls me Lexi, but whenever we are in class together, the teachers call us both just by Alex, not even our last names, so we like to mess with them and talk at the same time.
I looked down the road and saw Alex was about to pull into my driveway, so I stood up and walked down my sidewalk. By the time I got to the end of the sidewalk, Alex’s car was right in front of me. I opened the passenger front seat and got in.

“Morning Lexi.” He greeted me with a smile.

“Morning Lex.” I returned his smile with one of my own.
The whole way to school we made small talk, and jammed out to music that Alex put on full blast, and kinda pissed off the driver’s that were next to us, which made us laugh at them. Once Alex parked the car, we both got out and he met me on my side and we started walking. “Lex, can I have a piggy back ride?”

“Sure. Hop on.” He said as he stopped walking and bent down a bit. I said a little ‘yay’ and jumped on my best friends back. Alex and I also do this kind of stuff, as we are just that close. He walked us into the school, as we got looked at by everyone around us. I still don’t understand why people look at us strangely when we do this, we tend to do it every single day. He walked us to our lockers, where we have managed to get them right next to each other.
Once we were at the lockers, I jumped off my back and we high fived for no reason. We laughed and opened our lockers to get our stuff for the first class of the day.

“Alexi!” I heard someone shout down the hallway, Alex and I knowing they were shouting for us. Alexi was a ship name our friends came up with for us, because they all think that Alex and I make the worlds cutest couple. I shut my locker and turned around, where I was greeted by Jack, Zack, Rian, and Cass.

“How is the beautiful couple during this fine morning?” Cass asked with a smile.

“We’re not dating, why must you guys keep this up?” Alex asked with a groan. I admit, I have thought about Alex as the boyfriend type, but I’m pretty sure he has never seen me as the girlfriend type for him, which is okay with me.

“Yeah, you’re not dating YET.” Jack said with a smirk. I sighed and rolled my eyes..

“We will never be dating. Oh and would you look at the time. We got to get to class. Come on Alex.” I said as I grabbed the sleeve of his arm and started pulling him down the hallway away from our friends and to our first class.
We both laughed when we entered the classroom and went to take our normal seats in the back of the class, but the girl who happens to be the most popular girl in school, was sitting in my seat. Oh, and she just so happens to have a crush on Alex. “Great. Now I won’t be able to talk to you all class.” I crossed my arms over my chest as I looked around the room to find a seat.

“Hold on, I got this.” He replied with a smirk. I watched as he walked over to another student in the room, who also had a empty seat next to him. Alex was one of the nicest kids in the whole school, so basically everyone talked to him. I watched as the kid nodded his head with a smile and grabbed his books off his desk and walked over to Alex’s seat. Alex waved me over and we both sat down in the seats next to each other.

“How did you get him to move?” I questioned him.

“I was just honest with him. I told him I wanted to sit next to my best friend, but Morgan took your school. He was more than willing to let us have these seats.” He said with a smile. I nodded my head and the teacher walked in.

We finished our morning classes, and were now walking to the lunch room, well, Alex was walking, I was riding on his back, again. Once we made it to the lunch room, Alex and I walked to the lunch line, which everyone let us go in front of them because like I said before, everyone loves Alex. We got our lunch and made our way to our lunch table, where are friends were already sitting down and eating. We joined them at the table in our normal seats and began talking.

“Hello Alexi!” Cass said with a smile.

“Aye Alexi.” Rian laughed.

“Alexi! My favorite couple in the world!” Jack said loudly.

“Hey Alex. Hey Lexi.” Zack said normally.

“Thank you for at least being the only normal one in the group Zack.” I said with a laugh.

“No problem, girly.” He laughed as well.

“So Alex. When are you going to ask Lexi out?” Cass asked. Here we go, having our normal conversation that we always did at lunch.

“I’m not. We are just friends Cass.” Alex replied, me nodding my head in agreement.

“Oh come on! You guys are perfect together!” Jack complained.

“You know what. Fuck it.” Alex said. I turned to him with a confused look and notice he turned to look at me as well. “Lexi, go on a date with my this Friday?”

“Uh, are you really going to let our friends have their way?” I asked, still a bit confused.

“It’s not for them. It’s for me. Uh, I have always had this crush on you, and I’ve always been to scared to do anything about it. Um, so, what do you say? Friend night, dinner and a movie?” He asked looking pretty damn nervous. I have always found Alex cute when he was nervous, oh what the hell.

“Okay. Let’s do it.” I said with a smile.

“Really?” He asked with the look of hope in his eyes.

“Really. A date, just the two of us.”

“Awesome.” He smiled and we both turned back around and looked at our friends, who all looked like they were about to jump for joy.

“About fucking time!” Jack said with a huge grin.

“Alexi will be official on Friday!” Cass said with a squeal as she did a little fangirl dance in her seat.

“Why are we friends with you guys?” I questioned them.

“Because you lllooovvvveeee us.” Rian teased me. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
I was actually pretty excited for Friend.
