I put a spell on you.

Alex froze in front of us, I froze at Charlie. Charlie just smiled with such an innocence. It felt like the entire world had their jaws wide open. The cold hearted bitch that was just 19 had just shown affection in public, was she ok? was she sick? is this a doppelgänger? Charlie then kissed me on the cheek and walked to his friends. I just looked at Kyle and Alex giving them the what the fuck just happened look. I didn't move for like a good 5 minutes, Alex could obviously tell that from the look on my face I was not expecting that from Charlie and didn't really want it either. I still had him wrapped around my little finger, so it didn't really matter. Kyle and I sparked up and went to class. I sat next to Alex in class today to make he know I was still on his side and it so worked. I stared back to see Charlie giving Alex dirty looks. I walked to the back of the class to get a 4h pencil since I had left my pencil set at Charlies. When walking back I lent over Charlies shoulder and whispered.
"Would you stop giving Alex the daggers, he was my first friend here so I would like to keep him close and if you wanna keep me I would stop now" I slyly kissed his neck and sent out a shudder but a good one. "Your place tonight, I'm cooking" I kissed again and then walked back to my seat.
"what was that about" Alex whispered to me
"Told him to stop starring" We both laughed and then I looked back to Charlie who suddenly corrected his facial expression. I got on with my work for that day.
Lunch was different today, Kyle, Alex, Jack and I drove to the nearest five guys and had lunch there since today for some weird reason we had a 2 hour lunch. We got back to college, Charlie and his little gang were sat by the gate smoking. Charlie followed the car with his eyes. I knew exactly how I was playing these two and I didn't care. We got out the car and I gave Alex the biggest hug and he squeezed back exactly as I hoped he would. When that was over I walked over to Charlie, he was trying not to look like he wanted to rip Alex's head off but I knew if he wanted to get what he wanted, then he was gonna have to suck it up and Let me have my 'Friend' He gave me a tight squeeze, could tell he was looking over at Alex then buried his head in my hair. Then he whispered
"Hey baby I missed you" I've not be called or told that with the feeling in his voice in over a year. I wasn't quite sure how to act. It felt good hearing it but then again I am the ice queen, who has no emotions.
but for some reason this came out "Hey sweetie I've missed you too" WHY THE FUCK YOU JUST SAID THAT YOU STUPID WOMAN my inner monologue went off. My inner monologue is voiced by Charlotte Crosby, my favourite geordie. He just smiled at me and I smiled back at him. Then inside I melted.
"Are you staying at mine tonight?"
"Yeah, Kyle brought some of my stuff its the car" I smiled again and just kissed the top of my head. I melted again. Then I realised what just happened and I iced over again. I retracted myself and walked to class. He didn't even realise I had iced up and just went back to his friends. Kyle and I walked together into class. He didn't say anything he knew I would be trying to figure everything out in my head. Alex sat there chatting to Jack and for some reason I couldn't do anything but smile at him. He was so adorable and I liked it. Now this is gonna confuse me. The class went on and not once did I look back at Charlie because right now I was happy just to chill with Alex and laugh with him. Charlie was way too serious at times. Class finished. Charlie waited for me to collect my things and we walked out hand in hand to Kyles car, who gave us a lift to Charlies. We basically did the same as last night, we just watch netflix and chilled. We were having a Cuddle when he moved his hand in-between my thighs. Well you can imagine what happened next. The rest of the night we spent in bed, I laid on my front and Charlie traced down my spine with his finger while whispering how beautiful I looked laying there. I smiled it was nice to complimented. I must of drifted off because when I woke it was 4 am and Charlie had his arm over my back. I just smiled and went back to sleep, I was woken by kisses down my back. I just made a little a noise and he heard.
"Morning sunshine" I could hear the smile in his voice.
We went outside to have a smoke, I felt kinda sick but just ignored it. We got ready for college and left.
3 Months passed by
I had become more and more detached from college and I dropped out. I got a apprenticeship at Jeckyll tattoos in town. I had become more dependent on drugs and alcohol. I seemed to work better. I was literally a functioning addict. Kyle and Mike were going down the same route. Charlie and I were good, he was more invested than I was. Alex and I were closest as ever. He always had something to say about Charlie.
There was a knock on the front door. I went to answer it, It was Alex.
"you alright" He still didn't really get british greetings, "I'm in the garden" He followed me through. I got him a beer out of the cooler and handed it to him. I was Half way through a blunt I offered him some knowing he wouldn't take it.
"Hows work?" He asked me taking a swing of beer.
"Amazing, Love it so much I've got really good at it" Showed him some pictures on my phone of some drawings I had done. "Hows college babes?"
"Shit without you now" He winked at me and we laughed.
"Charlie behaving himself?" I asked concerned
"Yeah I think so why?" He looked worried for me
"I dunno, he's been acting really suspicious lately, I saw some texts on his phone from someone named Angie heart heart, there were also some photos of a brunette chick in underwear, didn't look a model of anything. Didn't wanna bring it up, going through the I trust you not to cheat phase." I said not making eye contact letting out a little laugh after.
"There's no one in class called Angie sweetie"
"oh"
