I put a spell on you.

Wondering why a complete stranger would stop me on the streets. I pulled out my head phones out and just let the splif hang from my mouth.
"Nice car" This kid said pointing to my new merc.
"Thanks guilt gift from the new dad" I laugh taking another drag and blowing it in his face. I giggled a little.
"Alex" He smile, it was a little crooked. It was cute.
"Lily Mae, most people call me lil or Ink" I took another drag just then Kyle rolled up next to me. "This is Kyle my brother. One of"
"what up" he nodded at Alex.
"See you got a guilt car as well" I nodded to the drive way.
"Yup. Pick up?"
"Yup, see you" We rolled away in true fashion "Can we get some E?" I asked as we skated. Kyle just laughed and nodded which means he is completely on board with the plan. Love my brother more than anything. Tomorrow we would be starting college. We have been asked to represent ourselves using art, hence all the painting I've been doing. I've done a few mandalas, spiritual mind and soul kind of gal. Didn't really care for presenting it but if it has to be done. That night Karen insisted on having a family meal and talking about our day.
"Lily what did you today?" She asked me over chinese food.
"Well I was working on my college project intill you two decided to interrupt me. Then Kyle and I went for a skate. Met some guys that live up the road I assume I shall be seeing them around college. Then this shitty meal"
My Mum threw her fork down on the plate and everyone could feel the tension in the room. "Why? Why Lily can't we have one family meal together without you digging at me or Dan? Dan bought you a car today be grateful"
"I didn't ask for a goddamn car I was happy with my board. I didn't ask for any of this" I raised my voice.
"This is a new start. To get away from what happened"
"No Karen this is a new start for you. We were happy with our life back home. This is for you to get away from the guilt" I got up from the table "You know what Karen that guilt that you could of done something more will follow you no matter where you go." I turned around grabbed my bag and went for a skate. I stopped at Alex's house.
*His mum answered the door* "Hi, Is Alex in? I'm Lily"
"Hi Lily, I'm Isobel. I'll just go get him" She turned around and walked into the living room Alex walked out.
"Hey you"
"Can you skate?" I asked him
"Yeah" I waved my board, "Two secs I'll go get my board" He was back in a flash we went for a skate. Just laughing about random stuff. Nothing personal or anything. But he was calming me down. We stopped at a 24/7 convenience store to grab a drink. I checked my phone I had 27 missed calls from Karen, 19 messages. and a few from Kyle and Mikey. I ignored them. "whats the time?" Alex asked me.
"Its ten to 11"
"Shit better be getting home, college tomorrow"
"Ah same, first day" We started to skate off. I siad goodnight without stopping, Alex turned into his drive and I continued on to my drive, I doubted anyone would be up. I walked into the house and Karen and Dan were in the kitchen. She turned to look at me, with a hopeful look on her face. I walked straight past her and put a few bottles of cider in my bag and crisps. Then went upstairs. I was smoking a doubie in my room when Mikey walked in. Joined me ad then a few minutes later Kyle walked in, joined in.
"where did you go? " Kyle Asked
"went for a skate with the Alex guy to clear my head. How was she went I left"
"she asked who agreed with that so Me and Mikey just took our plates upstairs and not spoke to her since"
"You didn't need to do that man. She already hates she doesn't need to hate you two as well."
"Its fine sis" Then rubbed my back and then left my room. I went to bed, it didn't take long for me to fall asleep but the early star for college was the killer. Kyle and I smoke a morning blunt then got ready. Kyle was going to drive to college, I wanted to skate so he took my art and put in the car .and drove off. I went back in the house to get my board when I cam back out Alex was waiting at the end of the drive for me. It was nice someone wanted to be my first friend at College. We skated together to college. He asked me if I was feeling any better I nodded. I wasn't gonna let him know he helped with that process because that means I left someone in and we can't be having that. We had been posted all the details we need for college. So I left Alex to go see his friends and I skated to Kyle's car and grabbed the art. We walked to the studio to meet our Professor. We took seat at the back at our new class and watched the students pour in .

ALEX'S POV
We walked into class like any other day then it struck me I never asked Lily what class she was taking at college. I hadn't seen her around college not since we left each other at the gates. Well maybe I'll see her at lunch or after college. Rian and I walked into Fine Art with Lisa and there she was laughing with that careless laugh of hers, sitting at the back of the room with her brother Kyle. I was so happy she was in my class. Maybe now I can get to know her a bit more. There was something about that girl. I knew hardly anything about her but I can't seem to stay away from her. She shot me a little smirk.
"Hey Lily" I walked over to her.
