I'm Never Gonna Let You Go

Alex sat on the couch beside his boyfriend Jack and let out a sigh. He wasn’t feeling the greatest but there was no way that he was going to admit that he was sick. Alex Gaskarth does not get sick. Alex rested his head on Jack’s shoulder as he flicked through the channels on TV, daytime TV was always boring. “Are you feeling sick Lex?” Jack asked with a concerned expression on his face. Alex was quick with his reply. “No, not at all.” He faked a smile and shuffled a little closer to Jack. “Whatever you say love.” Jack wrapped his arm around Alex’s waist and pulled him closer.

Alex felt as if there was a massive storm going on in his head, his headache only got worse as time passed. He buried his head in Jack’s chest and waited for Jack to wrap his arms around him again. It didn’t take long for Jack to do so and once he did Alex felt a little better. “Are you sure you’re not sick?” Jack asked again, he knew that Alex could be stubborn sometimes but he needed to know if he was okay. Alex simply nodded his head and tried to focus his attention to whatever boring TV show was on.

Jack could see that Alex was only getting worse; it was pretty obvious because Alex wasn’t good at hiding his pain. Before Alex had a chance to say anything Jack picked him up and carried him to their room and put him in their bed.” Alex I know you’re not feeling well, I’ll go and get you some pain killers I’ll be back in a second.” Jack rushed to the bathroom and got some pain killers for Alex and then got him some water. Jack walked back into their room and sat down on the bed next to Alex. He handed Alex the two pills and the glass of water and then watched as Alex swallowed the pills with a gulp of water. “Thanks Jack.” Alex smiled weakly and placed the glass on his bedside table. “Cuddle with me?” Alex asked with a small smile. Jack laughed softly and got under the covers with Alex.

The younger boy rested his hands on Alex’s hips and brought the two of them closer. Alex smiled and rested his head in the crook of Jack’s neck whilst humming their favourite Blink 182 song. Jack hummed along with him whilst rubbing circles over Alex’s hip bones which Alex found strangely calming. “I love you Jack.” Alex whispered into Jack’s ear. Jack smiled and whispered the same three words into Alex’s ear. Alex moved his head back into the spot between Jack’s neck and shoulder and closed his eyes. Jack smiled and continued to trace circles over Alex’s skin.

An hour or so had passed and the boys had stayed cuddled up in bed. “Are you feeling any better Lexy?” Jack asked as he looked into Alex’s eyes. Alex nodded his head and pressed a kiss to Jack’s cheek. “Thanks Jack.” Alex smiled as he saw Jack’s cheeks flush a light shade of pink. Jack kissed Alex’s cheek back and the two went back to cuddling.
