Akex's Little Sister (Part 2)
Your POV
I couldn’t believe it. Jack had asked me to be his girlfriend? This soon? This was a dream come true for me. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this to happen. He was always super cute but just now, he’s more than that. He’s everything I want.
We were on our way to go find Alex to explain the whole thing to him. He had just walked in on us making out, and I feel bad that we had that effect on him. If I knew my brother, I’d say he was either hiding in his room (which he probably isn’t, it’s also Jack’s), or he’s hiding some place super isolated like the roof.
Jack tightened my hand as we went around looking for Alex. Rian and Zack were both in their rooms, and I don’t think we should worry them about the problems Alex is having.
I squeezed Jack’s hand for comfort and gazed around the corner to check one last spot. He’s gotta be at the roof, he’s always loved high places to relax. “Jack?” I said after a while. We’d been silent this whole time.
“Yes, beautiful?” he smiled. The effect he has on me is unreal.
“I think Alex went up the roof.”
“Let’s try the roof then.”
We wandered up to the elevator, but we knew we could only get as far as the floor below the penthouse, and have to climb up the stairs to get to the roof. Or at least I knew that.
“What do you mean I have to exercise?” Jack wrinkled up his nose when I told him that we’d have to go on the stairs for now.
“They don’t want commoners getting in the way of private living.” I giggled.
“Whatever, we should be up there, this is discrimination!”
“No one’s discriminating, they just didn’t want to get you guys the top floor.” Jack took a look over at me and I smiled reassuringly.
“No one asked me if I wanted it though,” He stuck out his bottom lip.
“That’s because you’d trash it.” I giggled again, and by now we had reached the roof. Sure enough, there was Alex, lying on the ground with his arm over his eyes. “Alex?” I asked, as we approached him. I nudged him a little bit with my feet trying to get him to look at us.
He rustled a little bit, and removed his arm. “Oh fuck me,”
“No thanks, I’d rather do that to your sister,” Jack laughed. I elbowed him in the side. That is not how we get off to a good start.
“Jack, that is really not helping your chances here,” Alex sighed. “What the fuck man, why didn’t you tell me you were seeing each other?”
“We didn’t know until we went looking for you,” I mumbled quietly, looking down at my feet.
Alex sat up, now facing toward Jack. “You mean you almost fucked my sister and you weren’t even seeing each other?” His voice started to raise, and I got increasingly smaller.
“Relax dude, she’s fine, she’s not dead. I didn’t do anything except kiss her.”
“That’s beside the point, Jack.” Alex was standing up now, eye level with Jack. “What makes you think it’s okay to go and do that to her, you know how much of a schoolgirl crush she has on you.” My cheeks turned bright pink and I dropped Jack’s hand.
“Well I didn’t until like ten minutes ago, but what does it matter? I like her too, I was the one that asked her out, I’m not taking advantage of her or anything.”
“I don’t like it, Jack. It’s weird. I don’t want to see you sucking face with my sister 24/7, especially not on this tour. Why do you think that I hadn’t ever invited her along? I knew this was going to happen.”
“Wait, so that’s why you didn’t want to take me on any of your tours?” I piped up. But Alex ignored me, and Jack took a step back defensively.
“You know that I wouldn’t do that, especially since she’s your sister. I might do it to annoy you, but never like that,” Jack told him.
“It doesn’t matter, I just don’t like it.”
“Well regardless of whether you like it or not, I’m still going to do what I want, and she’s still going to do what she wants. You can’t stop us.”
“Whatever.” That was all Alex said, and down the stairs he went, leaving Jack and I awkwardly standing there, not knowing what to say or do.
“I guess I’m not staying with Alex tonight,” Jack shrugged looking down at me. “Are you okay, Y/N?”
I looked down at me feet and shuffled them through the dust. “As far as I can tell, yeah,” I sighed.
“Can I stay with you tonight?” he asked me.
“You sure that’s a good idea?”
“Sure. Alex can go suck a fuck, if he’s that butthurt about us being together, he can get over it. He just doesn’t like what his head is picturing. He cares about you, you know.”
“Yeah,” I nodded. “Sometimes a little too much.”
Jack agreed with me, and we went on back down the stairs to go to bed. Jack decided he’d sleep in what he’s wearing since it’d be awkward as hell to get some clothes and then leave him alone in his room.
When we got to my room, I yawned, and Jack jumped to sit on my bed. “Are you okay with sleeping in the same bed, or do you want me to sleep on the floor?” They had only given me one bed since I was rooming by myself - or so I thought. It had only been the first day of our relationship, but I think it’d be okay.
“You can sleep up here with me if you want.”
“You positive?” I nodded, and he shrugged his shoulders, getting in next to me. I scooted closer to him, putting my head on his rising and falling chest. It was enough to lull me to sleep.
Jack’s POV
When we awoke, it was around eight in the morning, right when Brian wanted us to be awake. I didn’t say anything to Y/N, just slowly got up, still in my clothes. I texted Zack to make sure that Alex was out of our room. He was, so I told Y/N I’d meet her up at breakfast as I went to go get ready.
I got to our room and threw on some clothes, telling myself I’d take a shower later. I was too exhausted to deal with anything right now. Yesterday was eventful as shit.
When I walked out, Y/N was waiting for me, and I smiled to myself. I took her hand in mine and brought her to where we were having breakfast. When we walked in, Alex saw us and rolled his eyes, and Zack smiled, knowing what exactly happened last night. I was sure I heard a groan coming from Alex.
Rian on the other hand, was confused. When we sat down, he stared at our hands holding each other’s. “When the fuck did that happen?”
“Last night,” I nodded to him.
He nodded, still slightly confused, and gave me one last eyebrow arch before returning with his conversation.
“So you still haven’t changed your mind?” Alex asked me.
“Nope.”
“Fuck.” He ate his breakfast in silence, and left without a word as soon as he was done. I shot a look to Zack, pleading with him to fix it. If anyone could get Alex rational it’d be him. I was relatively good at calming him down from a panic attack, but Zack could get him to be civil with me whenever we have a fight.
“You want me to go talk to him?” Zack asked me.
“Please?”
He nodded and got up to follow Alex to his room. I stayed with Y/N and we both messed around with each other until Zack came back. It had nearly been a half an hour since Zack left, and I was starting to get worried. What if he never approves? Would Y/N leave me because of that? She really does admire her brother a lot.
We were in the middle of throwing straw wrappers at each other when Brian told us to go get Alex and Zack. Well he told me, but I brought Y/N with me. She’d probably want to be a part of the conversation.
We hiked up to or room, and right as we got there, Zack was walking out. I asked him if he made any success.
“He’s willing to be civil, he just wants to lay a few ground rules down,” he told me. I nodded. I squeezed Y/N’s hand and brought her in the room. If I’m going to be with her, she should at least be involved in the final say.
“Alex?” I asked, opening the door. I dropped Y/N’s hand, making sure that I didn’t do anything to set you off.
“Zack told me what was happening between you guys, I guess it makes sense. I don’t really have a problem with you guys seeing each other, I just wanted to lay a few things down first.” I nodded, and he sat up from his laying position. “First,” he pointed at me, “You break her heart, I break your dick you got that?” I laughed and nodded, and then he put his attention on Y/N. “Second, you break his heart and I break your wrist, you got that?” Y/N giggled and I smiled, happy that she wasn’t too upset.
“If I am in the room with you two, no kissing in front of me, that’s just weird.” I laughed again and reached over for Y/N’s hand. “You got that, are we good?”
“We’re good Alex, don’t worry.” I giggled.
“Good. Now I gotta go.” He got up to leave, and it was just Y/N and me left in the room.
“So,” I started.
“So,” she smiled.
“We’ve been approved.”
“Thank god.” She came and sat next to me, and I rubbed my thumb over her hand soothingly. I smiled down at her, and leaned over to kiss her gently on the lips.
“Sorry guys I forgot my-” Alex came back in the room and we split apart. “Again? Really? Jesus my timing is so not on my favor in this one.”
We both laughed and he just left the room. I took her hand and brought her up with me to stand. We had to leave soon, but I wanted a proper kiss from my new girlfriend. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and she wrapped hers around my neck, and I brought her in to kiss her. She kissed back and when we pulled apart, I rested my forehead on hers.
“Come on, it’s time to get on the road!” Alex called from behind the door. He was still waiting for us to get out of the room. We came out, and everyone was waiting for us when we did. “Y/N, if you make Jack late for everything, I will never forgive you.”
We all laughed at Alex and started on our way out. I had Y/N by the hand, and I was so happy I could finally call her mine without worrying about Alex slitting my throat at any given moment.
