Alex's POV

"What ruined the picnic," I asked looking at the black card in my hand.

Jack started laughing uncontrollably at the white cards in his hands. I rolled my eyes again. Kara was also laughing, it creeped me out how similar they were. Wendy was smirking and the card she slid to me. Zack and Rian were giving each other strange looks because of Jack. I couldn't help but laugh at their reactions to his stupidity. We were playing Cards Against Humanity.

I looked at the card's I had been given and rolled my eyes. It was easy to see who put down what. It cleared my throat and looked over what was. Wendy came over and laid her head on my shoulder, stealing a glance at the cards I had to chose from.

"No Jack, pedophiles didn't ruin the picnic. Who put down landmines cause that's the best," I said softly.

"Really Lex, call me out like that," Jack groaned as Zack grabbed the card, adding it to the stack.

"Jay, I know you like the back of my hand. You're predictable. Try something less you."

He muttered something under his breath as Zack read out the card. I looked through my cards and slid one down as my phone rang. I pecked Wendy on the cheek as I stood up answering it despite not knowing the number.

"Hello," I asked.

"Alex, this is Billie remember," the voice said.

"Oh, hi Billie, what's up?"

"I talked to the producer at Hopeless. Just send in a tape and come up with a name. They've been looking for a good young band. Maybe you got what it takes."

"Shit, thanks Billie. We owe you."

"You're fine just don't forget the small people."

I looked at Wendy smiling and laughing with the guys while Zack read the cards out like you're supposed to. We typically play strip Cards Against Humanity but we weren't sure how the girls would feel with that. I smiled at the phone.

"I don't think I could Billie," I responded.

"You'd be surprised what that light can do," he responded.

"Some times the small people are the ones who help us the most."

"You really like her don't you?"

"What?"

"That girl, Wendy right? You really like her don't you?"

"Yeah, I think I do. She makes me happy, anyone can tell that."

"Is it that obvious?"

"You are head over heels for her and I'm pretty sure people can see that from space."

"Oh."

"It isn't bad. Just, I can tell one thing about her. Be careful with her."

"Are you her father or something?"

"No, I can just tell you that. It's easy to see if you can read people."

"I need to go Billie, we're playing Cards Against Humanity. Thanks, for everything."

"Alright kid, stay happy."

The dial tone went off so I put the phone back in my pocket. I walked back to the group and we had decided to stop the game. I pulled Wendy into my lap and kissed her cheek softly. She blushed and ran her hand through my hair. She pushed her lips against me, pushing me on my back. She straddled my waist as she kissed my neck.

"Uh, guys," Rian said.

I put my hands on her waist pulling her closer to me, making her grind on me. She attached her lips to my neck and began to suck into the soft flesh there. I couldn't help but moan as she pushed herself even closer to my body. Her hands went to my hair, tugging it softly.

"Um, guys," Rian said.

"We're here," Zack said.

She tugged on my shirt, asking to take it off. I smirked against her lips. You could feel the awkwardness in the atmosphere to the room. We heard everything they were saying but chose to ignore it. I pushed my hips up to meet hers as my grip tightened on her hips. She purred with pleasure against my lips. She pulled my shirt up revealing a portion of my stomach, her hands running over the toned muscle there.

"Nope, you're done," Jack said as Zack literally pulled Wendy off of me.

"Fuck you asshole," I muttered, pulling a pillow into my lap.

"Dude, you were about to fuck in front of the four of us. We might love you but we don't want to see that."

"Like you care."

"Um, yeah. Kind of."

I looked over at Wendy who was bright red and looking at the ground. She moved her hair so it covered her face. She was so adorable as she was sitting like that. God, I want to crawl over there and push her against the floor, kiss her puffy lips and have my way with her. I wanted to see her, all of her. I wanted all of her.

"I'm sorry, that's all my fault," Wendy said getting up.

"Don't leave babe, you're fine," I said calling after the girl who was leaving.

I stood up to follow her, my speed was limited by my... problem. I sat outside the bathroom door where she had locked herself into. I understood how she felt. She had to be embarrassed. I would be, well if I had shame to begin with.

"Babe, please come out. You're fine," I whispered to the door.

Notes

Not quite smut ;) but share in the massive awkwardness. Cards Against Humanity, Billie Joe Armstrong, and almost smut. I'd say a good chapter :) Zack and Rian's comments are literally what mine would be too.

So, I can't update anything on Friday because I'm graduating and it's one of those I'm going to be doing something all day long. Also, I saw Train yesterday and it was so amazing, I loved it. I tried to see them again tonight but it wasn't meant to be.
