Rian Reads Fanfiction

Rian was on twitter. Just like any normal day when he got a little blue notification above his messages, clicking on it; he opened the newest one. Some fan had DM'd him a link on  with the message: you HAVE to read this.  At first he thought it was an article about one of their shows they'd recently played but no. It was something much much worse. It was a link to tumblr and from that alone, Rian was scared. Tumblr was a scary place okay. It was as he read the title that he knew he shouldn't continue. The potato fic. Rain's eyebrows had drawn together but he kept reading.  It was obviously another fanfiction written by some overly obsessed fangirl that probably thought the members of All Time Low had orgies before and after shows. Rian rolled his eyes dramatically as he continued to read. Rian was angry, the fic read and the drummer resisted the urge to roll his eyes again because seriously he never actually got angry.  But as his eyes scrolled down the screen of his phone, scanning over every word; he couldn't help but let out a laugh. Rian was tired of Alex calling him a potato, the story continued. Since when has Alex ever called him a potato? Sure there'd been jokes here and there but it's not like the lead singer walked around all day saying 'hey mr. Potato!' No. Just no. Rain shook his head clear of the thoughts and read on.  He was almost halfway through the fic now and something was being said about Rian being a wizard. Seriously, what the actual fuck is wrong with some of our fans... Rain thought to himself. Rian shook his head and finished the line he was reading. 'it actually ends in you getting potatoes shoved up your ass!' fanfiction Rian said, causing the actual  to start laughing so hard he was crying. "The fuck are you laughing at Dawson?" Alex asked, walking into the room Rian was in, taking a swig of the bottle of water he had in his hand as he leaned over Rian's shoulder. "What... Are you reading?" Alex asked, seeing the words 'ass' and 'potatoes' together in one sentence already had him dreading this conversation. "S-Some fan DM'd m-me a link t-to this fic." Rain said around his laughter as he continued scrolling down; Alex's eyes now intent on the screen. 'it's time Alex' fanfic Rian told fanfic Alex; both boys in real life looking at each other and shrugging as they continued to read. 'Potatois Anusatis!' fanfiction Rian called out, waving his 'magic wand' around and that's when the fic really started to get weird. Alex wasn't even reading the fix anymore, he was laughing so goddamn hard as he caught a glimpse of something along the lines of 'thousands of potatoes came out of Rian's ass and flew into Alex's' "Seriously?! O-Oh my god!" Alex shrieked out as he stole the phone from Rian's grasp, scrolling further down. "'Yes!' Rian cried. 'Fly my children. FLY!'" Alex called out, waving his arms around and exaggerating his every move. "This is seriously the greatest thing I've ever read, oh my fucking god." Alex said, handing Rian his phone back; the elder continuing to laugh while Rian read. "How did i-it end?" Alex asked five minutes later, seeing Rian shake his head and turn his phone off. "They killed you because of and I quote 'they surged through Alex's vital organs, tearing them apart with their mother fucking potato powers and soaring out of his mouth where they died in mid air'." Alex was shaking his head; his laughter dying down a bit. "I am so showing Jack this." "Of course you are." "It's no worse than that one time we read that Jalex knife fic. Or that carrot fic." The lead singer and drummer both shuddered at the memories. "This'll be nothing new." "True. I still have nightmares about that carrot fic." Rian said. "Yeah, I think we all do." Rian nodded. "I can't believe some of our fans get off on this shit." "Our fans our weird, very fucking weird." "No shit. The All Time Low fandom is getting out of hand." "Least they're not transforming Jack into a cat and making me fuck him." "I've read one of those actually." Alex raised his eyebrows. "I will never put anything past our fandom." Alex pulled out his own phone, pulling up the twitter app and typing a quick tweet. @AlexAllTimeLow @riandawson: you fucking potato...
