It's been two days since Jenna left her and Jack's house.

Jack has made no contact with anyone.

"Babe?" Alex questioned as he walked into the kitchen where Maya was.

"Yeah Alex?" She asked him back.

"I'm going to go over to Jack's...check up on him and shit..." He said as he walked over to hug Maya goodbye.

"Okay babe. Jenna should be down any minute to get her food, and Ashley is taking her nap. I'll see you later." She replied giving Alex a quick kiss.

"Okay, love you, bye." Alex said as he walked to the door.

"Love you too!" Maya shouted so he could hear her.

Alex arrived at Jack and Jenna's house ten minutes later.

Alex knocked on the door.

No one answered.

Alex turned the door knob.

Open.

Alex walked in.

He didn't see Jack.

"Jack? It's just me." Alex called out as he walked up the stairs.

He opened the bedroom to see Jack just sitting staring off in space.

"Jack?" Alex questioned as he walked closer.

Jack jumped, due to the fact he wasn't paying any attention and didn't know Alex was there.

"Oh..it's just you...what are you doing here?" Jack asked quickly putting his head back down.

"I came to check up on you...you haven't any of my calls or texts..I'm worried about you Jack..." Alex said sitting down next to him.

"I'll be fine...I just want to be left alone with my thoughts..." Jack said quietly.

"Too bad, you're my best friend. I'm not leaving." Alex said with a small laugh trying to lighten the mood.

"Really Alex, I'm fine." Jack said looking up at him.

"We both know that's not true Jack." Alex replied putting his hand on Jack's shoulder.

Jack didn't reply.

Alex took it as Jack knew as well.

"It's just...I can't believe I said that kind of stuff to her...I didn't mean any of it...." Jack stuttered out.

"I know you didn't. But she don't you need to talk to her Jack." Alex said.

"She won't talk to me....the day she left...I kept calling her over and over again....to a point she turned off her phone..." Jack said putting his head in his hands.

"That was the day she left. That's not today. She was a lot more mad then." Alex said looking at his best friend.

"Well, I'm not just going to call her over the phone. I need to talk to her in person. But I know her, she won't have it." Jack said looking up.

"You can come over to mine. She's still there."

"No....I need to do something special...to show her I didn't mean anything I said..."

"What do you have in mind?"

"Our 4 year anniversary is coming up tomorrow....can you have her at the picnic park next to the lake by 7pm? Jack questioned his best friend.

"I sure can." Alex said with a smirk.

"Thanks dude, but if I'm doing this. We need to start the shit now." Jack said standing up out of the bed.

"We?" Alex questioned him.

"Yeah. We. As in you and I." Jack replied with a smirk.

"Okay, I'll help. But first, you need a shower, you stink." Alex said pushing his best friend into the bathroom.

"I don't stink! It's just my manly smell." Jack said with a real smile.

"Whatever Barakat." Alex laughed and went to the living room to wait for Jack to take his shower.

About ten minutes later, Jack was out of the shower and dressed.

He styled his hair and went to the living room to find Alex.

"Okay. Let's do this thing." Jack said with a smile.

"Alright. What do we have to do first?" Alex asked Jack with a questioning look.

"Well...first we need to go buy decorations...simple ones....just little lights, a few candles, a picnic blanket, oh, and flowers. Jack said grabbing his keys.

"Well, let's go then." Alex said following him out the door.

Once they were at the mall, a few fans saw them.

And approached Alex and Jack.

"Hi...can we get a picture with you guys please?" The tallest of them said.

"Sure." Alex and Jack said together.

They took a few pictures with the fans and went on there way.

They got all the stuff they needed, and were making their way out of the mall.

Until.

They past a jewelry store.

Jack stopped dead in his footsteps and turned to the store.

"Jack?" Alex questioned him.

"Look at the necklace Alex..it's perfect..." Jack said pointing to a necklace.

"And how is it perfect?" Alex asked with a smirk.

"It...it has a beautiful butterfly on it....she's the butterfly....and it also has a heart....it's kinda like my heart....she's always with it..." Jack said staring at the necklace.

"Wow Jack. That was deep." Alex said with a small laugh.

"May I help you boys?" A woman asked as saw walked over to Jack and Alex.

"Yeah, can I see that necklace please?" Jack asked pointing to it.

The woman reached in for it and handed it to Jack.

"So, what do you think?" The woman asked a minute later.

"It's perfect....Jenna will love it....I'll take it." Jack said with a smile.

After Jack paid for the necklace, him and Alex made their way out of the mall.

"Okay, so, I'm going to drop you off, then I have to go home. So Maya don't worry to much." Alex said with a small laugh.

"I understand. Thanks for the help dude." Jack said to his best friend.

"No problem man." Alex said stopping in front of Jack's apartment.

"Okay, well, just make sure you have here there by 7." Jack said as he opened the back car door to get the stuff he got.

"I will. Don't worry. Just make sure you answer my fucking texts." Alex said with a smirk.

"Haha, I will dude. Thanks again. See ya tomorrow."

"You're welcome. See ya man." Alex said as Jack made his way to the building.

Alex drove off to his house.
