You were cleaning the house as fast as you could.

Today was the day your boyfriend, Rian, came back from tour with his band.

It was also your one year anniversary with him.

He called you to let you know he landed, and he would be home soon.

But that was about a hour ago.

So he would be due to be there any minute.

You finished up cleaning and took the dinner out of the oven, and dished it on two plates.

You dimmed the lights in the kitchen.

You lit a few candles and waited.

You heard a car pull up outside about two minutes later.

He was home.

You heard the front door open.

"A/N?" You heard him shout as he closed the door behind him.

"In the kitchen babe!" You shout back to him with a smile on your face.

He walked into the kitchen a minute later.

"Hey beaut- ....what's all this?" He asked as he walked over to you with a hand behind his back.

"Just a little candle lit dinner for my one and only." You say as you put your arms around his neck and kiss him.

"I have missed you my love." You say to him with a smile.

"I'm sure I have missed you more." He said kissing you again.

He pulls away and takes his hand out from behind him.

He had white roses.

He handed then to you and said.

"Happy anniversary my beautiful."

You took them from him and gave him another small kiss before walking over to the sink to grab a vase.

Rian walked up behind you and put his arms around your waist.

"Well hello." You said with a smirk and lean onto him.

"Hello my beautiful." He replied in between giving you kisses on your neck.

You laugh and push him back. "Would you like some dinner?" You ask with a smile.

"Maybe later...right now...I just want you..." Rian said with a smirk on his face as he pulled on your hand.

"Rian, at least let me blow the candles out." You said with a laugh.

"Fine, but, don't keep me waiting." He said as he placed one more kiss on your neck and walked to the bedroom.

You quickly blow the candles out and make your way to the bedroom.

Where you saw a waiting Rian on the bed.
