It was a few days before prom, and you really wanted to go with Zack.

You don't even know if he knows you are even alive.

You are the outcast. But, Zack is somewhat of a outcast as well. He is very shy, so he don't have many friends.

You went to school the Friday before the dance. Thinking it was just going to be a normal day like any other.

The day went by without anything new happening. Classes were still the same. School lunch was still the same.

You made it thorough the day without killing anyone.(Always a good thing, right?)

You got to the last class of the day, which you shared with Zack. You sit in the back, and Zack sits in the front.

You spent the day doing what you always do. Day dream about him.

The bell rang for the school day to end.

You are always the last one out of the room, and Zack is always one of the first ones out.

But not today. Today was a bit different.

You packed up all your stuff, and you saw Zack was still in the room. Leaving just you, Zack, and the teacher in the room.

You started to walk to the door, without thinking about it.

"Hey A/N? Uhh...can I...maybe...ask you...something...?" Zack asked very shyly.

"Sure Zack, what is it?" You ask walking over to him.

"So um...prom is coming up..." Zack trailed off.

"Yes it is." You say looking at him confused.

"Umm...you see...I was...maybe wondering...if you...would...I don't know...like to go with me...?" Zack asked with his head down.

You were cought of garud, thinking, "Is this really happening? Is Zack really asking me to be his date to prom??"

You shook the thoughts out of your mind, and spoke. "You mean...as your date...?" You asked him.

"Umm...yeah..." Zack trailed off.

"Is this a joke? Who put you up to this?" You asked looking at him with a confused look.

Zack laughed at your repsonce and smiled. "It's no joke A/N....I kinda have had this...crush on you...for a really long time now..." Zack said no more than a whisper.

"Oh...well in that case....I would love to go to prom with you Zack." You say smiling up at him.

Zack smiled back at you a pulled out a rose and handed it to you.

"Wow. Thank you Zack." You said with a blush.

"May I walk you home?" Zack asked with a small smile on his face.

"Yeah, I'd love that." You say smiling back at him as you two walked out of the classroom.
