The Night Before

Today was the day everyone was flying back home.

Jenna woke up before everyone.

She got ready for the day and went to the back lounge to call her Mom on Skype.

“Hey Mom.” Jenna said as she saw her Mom’s face pop up on the screen.

“Jen! Oh my gosh! Are you okay sweetheart?” Her Mom asked with worried look.

“I’m fi-” Jenna was cut off by her Mom.

“Do you need me to buy you a plane ticket to come home?” She asked still having a worried face.

“No-” Jenna was cut off again.

“Did Jack hurt you? Do I need-” Her Mom started but Jenna cut her off this time.

“Mom! Let me talk damn it!” Jenna snapped at her.

“I’m sorry sweetie. I just worry, that’s all.” Her Mom said looking at the screen.

“You have never worried before, you only just now start to show it now that I left the house.” Jenna sneered at her Mom.

“I’m sorr-” Her Mom started.

“Let me talk.” Jenna said.

“Go right ahead..” She replied.

“I need you to send all my stuff to Baltimore.”

“Hunny, why would I do that? You still live here.” Her Mother said with a small laugh.

“That’s the thing Mom. I’m moving out, I’m going to be living in Baltimore.” Jenna stated.

“What? No!” Her Mom said looking angry.

“Mom, just stop there. I’m 18. I can move out if I want to.” Jenna said as she rolled her eyes.

“You can’t just leave! What does Maya think about you leaving her?!” Her Mother everything but whispered.

“I’m not leavin Maya. She’s moving to Baltimore as well. To live with Alex to be exact, just down the road from us.” Jenna said to her.

“Us? Who is us?” Her Mother asked confused.

“Jack and I. I’m moving in with him.” She said bluntly.

“What?! After everything he did to you!?” Her Mom asked sounding more angry.

“Mom, get over it. It was one stupid mistake. I forgave him.” Jenna said rolling her eyes again.

“Not happenin-” Her Mom started, but, Jenna cut her off.

“Is is happening Mom. You have no say so over it.” She said to her.

“Yes I-” Jenna cut her Mom off again.

“No, you don’t. I’m 18, I can do whatever I want.”

“No-”

“Are you going to send my stuff to Baltimore or what? If not, I’ll call Dad, he will come over there and do it for me.”

“I...I’ll send it…” Her Mother said.

She was used to Jenna talking to her like this.

Due to the fact she never acted like she was Jenna’s Mom.

She only put up a good front when people were around.

“Okay. Bye.” Jenna said as she closed the Sykpe call.

A few hours later, and everyone was walking in the airport.

“Well Maya, you ready to start our life together?” Alex asked swinging his and Maya’s hands.

“I sure am, babe.” Maya said with a giggle.

“Well Jenna, you ready to start our life together? Jack asked swinging his and Jenna’s hands.

“Really? You have to do the same thing Gaskarth just did?” Jenna asked with a laugh.

“Yes. Yes I did. Now, are you ready?” Jack replied laughing as well.

“Well then, i you must know, then yes, I am ready.” Jenna said smirking at him.

“Good.” Jack said leaning down to give her a quick kiss.

“Okay everyone! Our flight is ready to board. Let’s go!” Matt said pushing everyone to the tunnel of the plane.

“Jack, your seat is next to Alex. Rian, next to Zack. Jenna, next to Maya. And me. Alone. Glad for that.” Matt said as they got on the plane.

“Psst, Maya. Want to switch seats?” Jack whispered to Maya.

“Sure.” Maya whispered back getting up.

They switched seats.

Jenna put her head up and saw that is was not Maya next to her anymore.

“You’re not Maya…” Jenna said to him.

“No, I’m not. I’m your boyfriend who switched seats with Maya.” Jack said with smirk.

“I think I can deal with that…” Jenna said with a smirk.

Jack had the middle seat, Jena had the window seat, and there was a little old lady that sat next to them on the outside.

Jenna fell asleep a hour into the flight, Jack just cuddled her the best he could.

“Well, you two are just too adorable.” The old lady said smiling at Jack.

“Oh, thank you.” Jack said smiling back at he.

“So where are you guys coming from?” She asked Jack.

“Oh, my band just got off tour, we were in the UK. Now we are going home to Baltimore.” Jack replied with a nice smile.
“Wow, that sounds like fun.” The lady said to him.

“It really is.” He replied to her.

“So how long have you two been living together?” She asked him.

“Never yet. I just asked her to move in with me yesterday.” Jack said to her.

“Oh! How exciting!” The woman smiled at him.

They talked for about two more hours.

Once the flight was over, Jack woke up Jenna.

“Jen, baby. Wake up. Were in Baltimore.” He said sweetly to her.

“Wow, I slept the whole time?” Jenna asked lifting up her head.

“Yeah, you did. Come on babe.” Jack said helping her up.

Once everyone was off the plane and in the Baltimore airport, they all had to go their separate ways.

Other than Jack, Alex, Maya, and Jenna.

Since they lived so close to each other, they took the same cab.

Alex and Maya were the first one’s dropped off.

Alex paid his half to the driver and helped Maya out of the car.

“Bye Maya! Call me later!” Jenna shouted to he as she got out.

“I will!” Maya smiled at her as she took Alex’s arm and walked to the apartment in front of them.

A few minutes later, and the cab stopped again.

This time, in front of Jack’s apartment.

They got out of the car and took their bags out of the trunk.

“Jack used his open hand to rab Jenna’s hand and start walking to the apartment.

Once they got to the 4th floor of the complex, Jack took out his keys and opened the door.

“After you m’lady.” Jack said stepping out of the way for Jenna to go in first.

“Aw, so sweet.” Jenna replied to him as she walked in.

Jack followed her in.

“Wow. Your apartment is amazing Jack…” Jenna said as she looked around.

“Our.” Jack started looking at her with a smile.

“What?” She asked him confused.

“Our apartment.” Jack replied to her.

“I guess it is..” Jenna said looking around again.

“Welcome home Jenna.” Jack said as he hugged her from behind.
