Chapter 1 - You
Alex's POV
I heard the bus door open and rolled my eyes. I didn't even need to hear the giggle of a slutty band girl before I turned over and groaned. Jack had been bringing a different girl back to the tour bus every night and frankly? I was sick of it. Having to lay there at night whilst only a meter away from me Jack was fucking some random bitch and she moaned his name. Slightly peeping out the curtain, the bedroom door was open and I saw straight into the couch area, where Jack and his slag were sitting. But there was something different tonight. Jack wasn't sliding his hand up her thigh or kissing her neck; his signature move to get a chick into bed. He was sitting there and they spoke. Not that I complained. I'd prefer them talking instead of fucking. They never exchanged kisses or sexual looks, seriously just talked.
My head began to spin. What the fuck was happening?! Jack was the king of sex so why was he just sitting there talking to her? Unless he was going to pounce on her at any minute, which, right now, seemed very unlikely. I pulled myself back into my bunk and closed the curtain. "I'll find out what happened in the morning" I thought before drifting off to sleep.
My eyes twitched and flickered open, only to find a grinning Jack leaning over me. "What the hell, dude?" I joked. Jack starte laughing and pulled back my curtain. He sat on the edge of the bed whilst he spoke. "You're so adorable when you sleep" he winked. Pulling my foot from under my bed sheet, I nudged him in his side.
I loved Jack. He was so funny and always cheered me up, especially when I was bummed out or if I'd just had a panic attack. We'd been best friend since the first year of high school. We always had this bond, a really strong connected where we knew what the other was thinking or going to do. Sometimes, though, when we were wasted, we'd make out. No tongues or anything, just rough kisses on the lips. Normally, I would force myself to forget whilst struggling with a pounding headache but it was always Jack who remindied me. Either by winking at me or blowing or kiss, or sometimes slapping my arse. I would never know what I was doing when he did. The other guys; Rian, Zack and Matt were to pissed to either notice or care.
"Alex!" Jack snapped, clicking his fingers infront of my face.
"Ah! Sorry dude, I blanked out for a second there" I laughed, shaking my head.
"I swear if you have a fucking panic attack today..."
"I won't, Jack. I'm fine"
"Good. You know I worry about you, dude. You're like a bro to me"
"I am your bro" I corrected him. He nodded and winked at me. The was a pause then I broke the silence. "So, what happened with that whore last night?" I asked, "you were talking and not fucking and my minds thinking 'what the fuck?!" I joked.
Jack hung his head and wiped his skunk hair out of his eyes. "Yeah, I was wasted and started going all soft like a pussy. She knew she wasn't getting any action but she was really kind and just listened. Like a friend not a fuck buddy"
"I'm your mate, Jack? Why didn't you speak to me?" I asked, raising a brow.
"You were asleep. And you looked adorable when you sleep but you also get fucking cranky so I left you alone" Jack shrugged. He was so hiding something. I could tell. I'd known this guy for goddam years, I knew everything.
"Fair enough. What was you speaking to her about?" I replied.

"Jack?"
