Sacrifice

Jacks POV

Like normal I was the only Spirit user.
There was a time where there would off been at least 3 Spirit users.
"Jack how are you haven't seen you for ages." Eddie said walking next to me.
"I'm alright. How about you Eddie?" I said.
"I'm good better now I found Bobby." Eddie smiled.
" That's good." I smiled.
"The human. Is he you mate?" Eddie said looking at me.
"Yes. That's Alex. I'm sorry about his behavior earlier." I said looking to the ground.
" Its fine. He has a attitude on him." Eddie chuckled.
"Yeah. But he alright once you get to know him." I said defending Alex a little.
"I can see that. He doesn't like being surrounded by Creatures. I don't blame him. We can be scary things." Eddie said.
"No he doesn't. But give him time and he'll grow on you. Hopefully." I said and smiled.
"I'm glad you found someone Jack. Last time I saw you, you where a mess." Eddie said sadly.
"Yeah. I don't think Spirit was helping matters on that." I said quietly.
"Don't push yourself today Jack. I don't want you going AWOL on me." Eddie chuckled.

We got to where we needed to be.
"Everyone get into pairs and challenge your gifts with your partner." Eddie said.
I got paired with a creature called Austin.
"Hey. I'm Austin you must be Jack." He said offering me his hand which I took.
"What gift do you specialize in?" I asked.
"Water. You?" Austin said.
"Spirit." I said.
Austin looked at me shocked.
"I thought that Spirit was no longer around." Austin said.
"Yeah its still here. Just not as many anymore." I said looking down.
I knew what Austin was trying to do.
But I got there before him.
I compelled him.
"Stop what your doing and sit on the floor until you are told to move." I said softly.
Austin did as he was told.
I then made Austin thank he was seeing things.
Eddie came round and watched us.
I stopped what i was doing and then left Austin to recover from it.
Just as he was coming to I played a mind trick on him.
I made him think he was in the ocean at the bottom.
I stopped at that.
The Spirit was pushing me a little.
Austin came to.
"Fucking hell Jack. You're stronger than what people think." He said as he got his breath back.
"Sorry I didn't mean to take it that far." I said sitting next to him.
"Its fine. We all know how strong you are now." Austin said.
I looked up and looked around everyone was looking at me.
"Fuck sake." I muttered to myself.
"We also know that with Alex you are both stronger than us." Austin said.
"But Alex is human. How can he be stronger than all off us along with me." I said confused.
"You'll find out." Austin winked.

As if on que Alex showed up with Bobby following him.
They where testing each other.
By the looks off things Alex was winning.
"Your weak Alex." Bobby said.
"Weak!? Fuck off!" Alex said and got the sword out off him hand and punched him hard and sat on him and put his hands on his neck.
"Who's the weak one now?" Alex growled and got up and went back but not before looking at me to see if I was okay.
He saw I was Okay and went off.
I could hear him telling the other to fuck off and stop looking at him like he's a freak.
Austin looked at me.
"See. Not everyone can take Bobby down like that." Austin smiled.
