Sacrifice

Alex's POV

We had to get out of here quickly.
Their on to us which wasn't good.
I went into mums room and watched her sleep.
I couldn't leave her again. Not with dad now he was.
"I'm sorry mum." I whispered and kissed her head softly.
She sighed softly.
I left a note on her bedside and got up and left the room.
When I got to the door I turned round and looked at her sleeping.
"Bye mum, see you soon." I said quietly and left the room.

I met Jack and Patrick downstairs.
" You guys got everything?" I asked in a rush.
They both nodded.
I could sense the fear Jack was feeling.
I walked over to him and cupped his face and looked in his eyes.
"Your going to be okay. I'll keep you safe." I said and kissed his forehead and turned round to face Patrick.
"You ready Patrick?" I asked. He just nodded.
With that I opened the door and looked round to see if I could see anything.
I couldn't so I went back to get the others.
"Come on." I said grabbing Jacks hand.
They both followed.

We got to the airport in one peace.
We checked in and waited for our plane.
Jack and Patrick where talking about something to do with Creatures leaving me to think to myself.
I knew I got woken up by Lily, she was warning me about something then I fell over Patrick and she went away.
Then there was the 'thing' in the corner of the room, which moved close to Jack. It knew about me and Jack but it made sure that only I could see it. Why?
It was like a witch but it wasn't.
It wasn't a ghost either.
What the fucking hell was it?

I was pulled from my thoughts from something going through the bond.
"Jack?" I said loudly.
I looked round but couldnt find Jack.
"JACK!" I shouted.
I got no response.
Fuck!
"PATRICK!" I shouted hoping that he would respond.
He didn't.
Shit this wasnt good.
I got up from where I was sitting and ran.
I never run so this had to be bad for me to run.
"PATRICK! JACK!" I shouted as I ran to find them.
I stopped suddenly as I was being pulled into Jacks head.

They where in a room.
There was no one with them.
The room was dark.
I knew Jack was trying to give me clues on where they where.
Then Jack gave me the clue I needed.
There was a door and it had a small window in it.
Stay looking there! I thought to myself.
I studied it hard.
I pulled put of Jacks head and looked round where I was standing too see if I could find where they where.
I couldn't find it.
"Fuck sake!" I muttered to myself.
I ran round the place looking for this place but i couldnt find it.
I suddenly felt like I was being slapped round the face.
My hand flew to my face to nurse it.
I realized that it wasn't me.
It Jack was.
I went I to Jacks head.
The person had left the door open.
I got a good look of it and reluctantly pulled out off Jacks head and ran.
I never ran so hard and fast in all my life.

I found the place.
The door was still open.
I slowly walked over to the door and listened to what the person was saying.
"He's never gonna come and get you!" They snarled at Jack.
"He's properly on the plane right now!"
"He properly never noticed you where missing!"
I could feel the hurt Jack was feeling through the bond.
It was so strong that it nearly pulled me back into his head.

I sneeked into the room and got up behind the person.
I jumped on their back.
It surprised them.
I got my hands round their neck and snapped it.
I got off them and studied them.
They where dead.
I rushed over to Jack and Patrick and untied them.
Jack flew into my arms and started to cry.
"I thought you where never gonna find us." He sobbed.
I wrapped my arms round him and rubbed his back.
"Course I was gonna find you." I whispered and kissed the top of his head.
We stayed like for a few mintues.
"Come on you two we have a plane to catch." I said getting up.
I dragged Jack up with me.
"You okay Patrick?" I asked and walked over to him who was looking at the body in shock.
He backed away from me.
"Stay away from me." He said in a small voice.
"Patrick if I didn't kill him you two would be dead." I said harshly and walked away from him.
I got hold off Jack hand and walked out the room.
"You fucking coming or not?" I snapped.
Patrick followed close behind.

Jack had hold off me. He wasn't going to let me go.
"I got you." I whispered in his ear and kissed his cheek.
Jack looked at me with a sad expression on his face.
"Speak to me Jack." I said softly keeping am eye on Patrick.
"They came out of no where. They where Demons." Jack said crashing into a hug and holding me tight.
"Jack I can't breath." I said. He let go slightly.
" I'm here, I'll keep you safe. I promise." I said in his ear.
Jack looked up and smiled.
I life my hand up and touched his cheek which the person slapped.
He flinched.
That hurt and Jack could tell that it did.
"Sorry." He said looking away from me.
I put two fingers under his chin and made him look at me.
I looked him deep in the eye.
"You have nothing to be sorry about." I said softly.
I pressed my lips on to jacks and kissed him softly. Jack returned the kiss.
When we pulled away we both smiled at each other.
We both looked over to Patrick.
He looked lost.
I was just about to go and talk to him but our flight was called.

When we got back to America Oli and Hannah was waiting for us.
Hannah came running up and pulled me and Jack into a hug.
"Thank god you two are okay." She said and pulled away.
"Course we are." Jack said smiling more than what he was before.
Oli came over and gave Jack an awkward hug then pulled Patrick into one as well.
I needed to ask Hannah something and she sensed it.
"Oli take Patrick and Jack to the car we'll catch you up." She smiled.
"Okay." He said and walked over and kissed her softly.
I waited until they whee far away not to hear us.
"Hannah can I ask you a favor?" I asked looking at her and round the place.
"Course you can Alex. What is it?" She said looking up at me.
"Can me and Jack stay at your for a bit. A lot of shit has happened and I don't feel safe to be in my house, I also need to know that Jack will be safe." I said .
We both started making our way to the car.
"Yes you can Alex. What's been happening?" Hannah asked.
"I'll tell you when we get back to yours." I said quietly.
Hannah didn't say anything.

We got back to Oli's and Hannah's.
Patrick left us when we got there.
Jack was latched onto me.
Hannah and Oli noticed his change in behavior.
We got indoors Jack made his way to the sofa and flopped down and went to sleep.
Hannah got some blankets and put them over Jack.
"Alex why don't you sleep?" Hannah said quitely.
"I can't, not after what happened at the airport, and the fact I keep on seeing things when I sleep." I said and made my way to the kitchen.
