Sacrifice

Alex's POV

Jack seems really reluctant to go down from breakfast.
I had a look inside his head to see what was wrong the only thing I could see was that he really needed to feed.
We'be been here for a week now and Jack was in big need for a feed.
"You sure you okay Jack?" I whispered as we went downstairs for breakfast.
He just nodded.
"After breakfast you can feed okay. Will you be okay until then?"
"I don't know." He whispered back looking at me pleading for this to end.
"You'll be fine. It'll be over before you know it. I'll be watching and keeping an eye on you okay." I said as I walked up and kissed him before we went into the kitchen.

"What's cooking mum?" I said as I went to get myself a cuppa tea.
"Full English, is that okay? Your not veggie are you Jack?" She asked looking at Jack.
"Nope." He said looking lost round the room.
Maybe this isn't going to be easy for Jack.
"Want tea mum? Jack?" I asked keeping a close eye on Jack.
"If your making one then yes please." Mum said while putting the food on the table.
Jack sent a response through the bond. I smiled and looked at him.
"Mum don't put so much on Jacks plate please." I said knowing that Jack couldn't handle much right now.
"Okay. Go and sit down food up." She smiled and brought the plates over.

Breakfast was uneventful.
Jack managed to eat most of what on his plate.
His face when he saw what was on his plate made me chuckle a little.
We went upstairs, I didn't want to stay in the house after what happened this morning.
"Jack you can feed now if you want." I said as I walked up to him.
"Thank god for that. I thought I was going to die." He said relief washed over his face.
" You went over your time for feeding didn't you?" I questioned.
"Don't get mad please." Jack said looking away from me.
"why would I be mad Jack?" I asked looking at him.
"Because its been a while and I haven't had the chance to go and hunt and feed so I'm overjue a feed Alex." Jack said looking at me.
"Why didn't you say sooner Jack?"
"Because I was fine until I punched Peter and saw blood."
"Let's get on with it then." I said and sat next to him with my neck out.

After Jack had fed he was happier.
"Jack fancy going out somewhere?" I said as I slowly got dressed.
"Sure. But where?" Jack asked still flopped out on the bed.
I went over to him and straggled his hips.
"I don't know. Would say go shopping and shit." I said pulling my tee-shirt on.
"Sure." He said and sat up and knocked me off.
"You mind I was sat on you!" I said looking at him.
"Somethings up Alex. Not with your parents their out." Jack said alarm going through the bond.
"They've found us. Alex they've found us!" Jack said fear showing on his face and going through the bond.
"Shit this isn't good Alex. There's another Spirit user." Jack carried on.
"What does this mean?" I asked confused.
"This means its bad. Spirit users are creatures who live alone away from other Spirit users. It means that when 2 Spirit users are together things will end badly." He said in a rush.

At least I get out of this shithole for the day.
