When It All Falls Apart

I sat at my desk, with my head in my hands, and let the realization take over me. This had never happen before, in the entire time I’d been buying myself personal whores, obviously it hadn’t happened to me before. All this time I’d been buying for thatauction house and they’d always swore to me that I was being sold a ‘fixed’ slave. Now I was facing the realization that she was having a baby…my baby. She and I had made a baby together and now I was going to be a father. The realization was stunningly painful and it made my chest tighten and my head float and whatever sanity I had left slowly dissipated. I’ve never enjoyed the feeling of falling, I’ve never enjoyed the knowledge that eventually everything would come crashing down around me and I would hit the ground, probably head first, and there was no way for me to control it. I was now falling, maybe not in love or anything. Maybe not even in like. I’ll admit that she made my blood pressure rise to unbearable levels, but don’t all women do that to men? But she was having my baby, the two of us had made a life together, and now I was stuck with her for the foreseeable future.
I groaned with the thought and sat up straight, fury burning beneath the anguish that filled my chest cavity. “ESTELLE.” I roared through the speaker that linked myself to her chamber.
“Alex,” she yawned in response. Even after I’d hit her she’d still stood her ground that I’m not as scary as I ‘pretend’ to be.
“Is Jaselynn awake?” I murmured, feeling myself flood with contempt.
“How the hell am I supposed to know?” She sounded a bit annoyed. I heard a gruff voice calling her back to bed and my eyes widened. “My room is all the way across the manor from hers.” She said crisply.
“You have companionship?” And all this time I’d been truly believing that my best friend was a lesbian. “A male?”
“Goodnight Alexander.” She said quickly and turned the intercom off.
I leaned back in my chair and rubbed my face. Estelle did have a point though, I’d made sure their rooms were entirely across the building as a point of saying ‘don’t get too close’. Which was probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done. I stood up and walked around to the windows and looked out. ‘Just go get her’ I thought and rubbed my face. I could go to her, I shoulda gone to her already. The last I’d seen her was when she’d fallen asleep after our impromptu tryst. Maybe I should go visit her.
I turned and exited the room, taking my time as I journeyed to her bedroom. I’d since told Estelle to keep her door unlocked, she was free to roam the house as often as she pleased. It was a special privilege, one I’d been happy to award after learning about our up and coming addition to the castle I’d built out of my money. But as far as I knew she didn’t leave the room, she didn’t even let Estelle in unless she had food for her and the baby. Healthy food, I’d done nothing but research how to have a baby, how to raise a happy embryo. I was actually excited to inform her of my discoveries.
That was until I opened the door and saw her standing by the window, her arms crossed and tears running down her face. “Jaselynn?”
She turned to look at me and dried her eyes. “I don’t feel well Alex. All I do is throw up. Everything I eat comes back up. It’s terrible.”
I took her face in my hands and kissed her softly on the lips. “I know it’s hell right now but you’re carrying a life inside of you. If it was easy then more people would do it.” I tease lightly, feeling at ease with her soft skin under my hands.
“Will you stay?” She asked tentatively.
I had a million protests sitting at the tip of my tounge. But I let it all go. I kissed her hands lightly. “Of couse.” And I was sunk.

So I just stumbled across this and decided to check it out. It is definitely intense, but there's something I like about it... perhaps it's Alex coming around in the last few chapters you wrote, idk. But it's definitely a unique plot line as well.
If you ever choose to pick up with this again, I will definitely be here to read it. You're an amazing writer, and I think this story deserves an ending if you can ever see yourself giving it one.
If not, I really enjoyed what you had of it. Just wanted to leave a comment showing you people are still stumbling across it. I'm not sure if you'll ever even see this or not, but I hope you do.
