Morning
*August 10, 2013*
*Saturday*
I wake up curled in between Matt’s legs with my head on his
chest, He lays on the couch leaning against the arm, one of his legs dangles off the couch and the other presses against the back fitting me nicely in between them. I hear a bustling in the kitchen to see Alex making breakfast completely ignoring Matt and my intimate embrace. We hadn’t done anything last night but watch several hours of the walking dead, gradually he and I shifted into this position.
Thank god for the poor frightened girl move. I has faked being terrified all night and cuddled up into Matt just so I could get closer to him, and he did feel safe. He held me like he was honestly protective of me. Jack kept on bumping me and chuckling, I kept thinking maybe he was still interested.
“You awake Hanna?” Alex says relatively quiet. I contemplate pretending to be asleep to get to remain on the couch with Matt,
“Yeah.” I sigh and give in, I start to slide out of Matt’s arms, he groans in his sleep and starts to roll over on the couch. I manage to my feet and start over to the kitchen.
“Hey, I’m just warming up some left over cinnamon rolls.” He smiles at me and pulls a plate out of the microwave and slides it on the table.
“Whatthe fuck…” Matt slurs from the couch where he pats around on the couch. Alex chuckles,
“You slept on the couch dip shit.” Alex calls at him making him jump and whip his eyes over to look at Alex and I.
“Oh, I see.” He blushes and starts to slide off of the couch.
“Morning.” I smile at Matt whose hair is everywhere making him look ridiculous,
“Sleep well?” He smiles at me and walks over to me with his arms out for a hug,
“Yeah.” I blush and hug him back, my cheek rubs by his, which is rough, “you’re really comfortable.” I bite my lip and pull back, he raises an eyebrow at me but keeps one of his hands on my back.
“Get a room!” Alex groans, making me blush more. Matthew merely brushes it off with a laugh,
“WOAH ZACK! HANNA HAS SEX HAIR!!!” I jump and turn on my heels to see Rian who is walking into the room with Zack on his heels, along with Vinny and Ian.
“Oh my god you guys,” I throw my arms in the air.
“How was the cuddle sesh?” Rian pokes my side and snatches a roll.
“How do you even know?” I groan exasperated.
“You honestly think you’d be able to keep that from us?” Ian chuckles and pulls out his phone pulling up a picture of Matt and I asleep on the couch, of course my ass is all up in the air. I look down realizing that I’m wearing yoga shorts that yes, accentuate my ass.
“JACK!” I scream, “YOU PERVERT!!” Matthew laughs and puts a hand on my shoulder,
“Don’t worry about it.” I raise an eyebrow at him,
“It might not bother you but I still find it creepy.” I mutter and turn to walk over to the fridge. We need more cinnamon rolls. While I prepare dinner Matt takes Rian, Zack and the now wake Jack through the next tour plans that apparently they’ve already started advertizing, giving me another week and a half to learn how to do all the guitar tech stuff.
“Thanks.” Matt smiles at me as I set down the plate piled high with cinnamon rolls all the men sit around the table discussing plans. I feel so anti-feminist.
“… So just to repeat out schedule, Illinois, Minneapolis…” I sigh to myself and walk over to the kitchen, Yeah, I’m not going to deal with all of that. Minneapolis though, Minneapolis is in the twin cities, the twin cities are St. Paul and Minneapolis. My home is in St. Paul. Second stop is home.
I turn around to see all the boys focused around the table, filling out forms or something, Jack just looks like he’s drawing dicks on the piece of paper in front of him. I wouldn’t be surprised.
