I woke up the next morning, checking my phone to find it was 9:30 AM. This had to make me the first up on the bus. So I grabbed my AWG fleece and went into my suitcase to grab a suitable outfit for today and went into the bathroom to shower and do the rest of my routine.
When I got out of the shower with my hair wrapped up in my towel, I went into my toiletry bag and grabbed my pill bottles to grab my dose for the day. I nearly screamed at what I found. I had enough to last my four more days. And I was sure we were far from Orlando and my only way of getting the medication I needed.
“Son of a bitch,” I slammed my fist against the counter before I took my meds and let my hair out of my towel. When I opened the door to leave the bathroom, I nearly rammed into Alex again, who had just gotten to the door.
“You alright Bonnie,” he asked.
“No, I’m going to run out of my meds and I have no way of getting a refill while we’re on the road away from Orlando. I’m screwed, Alex. I’m going to be a huge wreck,” I was panicking and I did not like this. I was on the verge of having a complete anxiety attack.
“Bonnie, just relax. I’ll help you keep relaxed and focused until I can get you home again,” Alex said, trying to sooth me. Surprisingly, I was relaxing thanks to him.
“This is going to be a rough tour,” I sighed and walked with him to the front lounge to find something to eat.
While I enjoyed some of cereal in a solo cup, Nyssa emerged from the bunks. She was still in Jack’s shirt from last night. I smiled at the fact he gave her a “boner” shirt. She looked adorable in it though.
“Morning Sleeping Beauty,” I teased.
“How are you functioning right now? I’d have thought you’d be hung over,” Nyssa was surprised at my cheerfulness.
“You forget that I don’t get hung over,” I smirked before I polished off my cereal.
“You must share your secret with me,” Alex joked.
“It’s all in the genes sweetheart,” I told him as I cleaned up my mess.
“What’s the plan for today,” Nyssa asked.
“I don’t really know. Matt knows, but he’s still cuddling with his Mickey Mouse collection in dream land,” Alex replied.
“Go shower for now Nyssa. I’ll keep the guys away from the bathroom for added security for you,” I told her and she nodded before prancing away to her bunk to get herself ready to shower.
“How are you feeling,” Alex asked as I sat down next to him again.
“Still panicking inside. I’m pissed that I forgot to call in for my prescription slips again,” I told him, sighing heavily with frustration at myself.
“You’ll be fine, Bonnie. I’ll be here for you to vent and lean on,” Alex smiled and kissed my forehead before he pulled me into his chest, hugging me warmly. I loved his embrace; it felt so safe and comforting.

With Bonnie now running out of her medication to keep her sane, I started to worry about her more. I wanted to make sure that her anxiety wouldn’t cripple her when he crutch is gone. I cared so much for her, she reminds me of how I used to be a major wreck when we first started picking up speed in our career. I was going to her rock as best as I could.
“So what do you want to do to pass time while we wait for the bus to pull over at the next stop,” I asked Bonnie.
“Please tell me you have a game system of some kind on this bus,” Bonnie asked. If she’s a gamer, I can’t let her pass me by.
“We have an xbox in the back lounge,” I told her.
“You, me, Call of Duty, now,” Bonnie shot up and grabbed my wrist, dragging me behind her through the bus to the back lounge.
“Damn Bonnie chill out for a sec,” I whispered, being careful not to wake anyone up.
“Hurry up and get this going. I need to show you up,” she whispered back.
“Relax, it’s loading, Bonnie,” I was shocked at how much energy Bonnie had in the morning after she drank quite a bit last night.

Alex fired up the xbox and got the game set up for us to split-screen against each other. I made my classic suppressed SMG class I played with all the time back home with a suppressed shotgun for a secondary. Once the game started, I went on the hunt for Alex. I managed to take him out first from behind.
“Not fair, you screen peeked,” Alex whined when I got him.
“Now I didn’t, I hunted you down,” I replied as I went out on the hunt. I noticed that Nyssa joined us in the back lounge to watch us play. She didn’t game like I did, but like to watch and cheered me on when I played.
“I’ll get you back Bonnie,” Alex said as he started to search for me.
“Try harder sweetheart,” I replied with a smirk as I pumped a shotgun shell into him.
“Cheater,” Alex huffed.
The game ended with me beating Alex by a landslide of ten kills over his score. I was pretty impressed that I managed to beat him. Then again, he might have gone easy on me. Either way I was a good sport when it came to my gaming, so I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.
“You actually play a mean game. Maybe later you can take on the rest of the guys,” Alex complimented my skills.
“Well I do like winning,” I snickered.
“I let you win,” he joked.
“Yeah sure you did Alex. Whatever helps you sleep at night,” I smiled, which made him smile too.
I looked into his eyes deeply for the first time since I ran into him yesterday. I felt myself melting in my spot. My eyes kept switching focus between his eyes and his lips. I was so lost in my thoughts of the moment, that I didn’t realize that Alex was leaning in closer to me. We were just an inch apart when Matt cleared his throat. So much for getting a kiss from Alex.
“Bonnie, I need to talk game plan for today with you and have you sign some insurance forms since you’ll be working on the tour,” he said, somewhat glaring at Alex.
“We can hang out more later, Bonnie. Go get your paper work done,” Alex encouraged me to go with Matt.
“See you later,” I replied and kissed his cheek again before leaving the back lounge.
