A couple weeks pass, Christmas and New Years fly by, and Christmas break is officially over for me. Like I planned, I started myself up with online school to finish up the school year and possibly the rest of my high school years. As time has passed for Alex and I together, secretly as boyfriend and girlfriend, it finally comes time for me to have my first appointment involving the pregnancy. Expecting Alex to drop me off at the office and come back to get me, he parks and comes in with me, insisting that helping me with the baby includes coming to all of the appointments. I honestly love that even with the age difference between us, and all the other things we have nothing in common with, he still wants to be the best person he can be to me. I don't think I will ever adjust to the fact that my favorite band is no longer just my favorite band, but also a part of my family. Who would've ever guessed right? After I fill out the forms, Alex and I take a seat in the waiting room, and I feel a bunch of nerves run through me, letting out a deep breath.
"You ok?" Alex asks me.
"Yeah, just a little nervous." I answer. "It's not like I have ever done this before." Before responding, he grabs my hand, rubbing it softly as he continues to hold my hand.
"You'll be alright." He says to me softly. "It'll all be fine."
"I know." I respond. Minutes later, we are called back to the room to see my new obstetrician and figure out how the pregnancy is going to go. We find out that I am 8 weeks along, also known as 2 months and that I am due August 13th of this year. We also end up finding out that as of right now the baby is still doing well and looks like they will grow to be very healthy if things stay the way they are.
We decide to head over to Jack's house, knowing that's where the rest of the guys are. I sit in the passenger seat on the way to Jack's house and catch myself smiling big. I love that over the matter of a week after I found out I was pregnant that things went so uphill for me and continue to be. I know I have had some drama in between it all, but I've done my best to let it go ever since the boys took me in. I don't know where I'd be right now if it weren't for them, probably on the streets somewhere in Washington. After we pull up to Jack's house, Alex opens my door, grabs my hand and walks me up to Jack's house. We ring the doorbell and wait patiently for him to answer the door. Seconds after we ring the doorbell, the door opens and Jack is standing in the doorway.
"Well hello there, gorgeous." He smiles at me as we walk in. "I wasn't expecting you to tag along." God damn Jack, you're adorable.
"We had an appointment this afternoon so I decided she's coming over with me this time since we were already out." Alex tells him.
"Yeah, why the fuck not?" Jack laughs. I follow them both nervously as we walk to his room and I see Zack and Rian.
"Hey, we haven't seen you since the tour." Rian smiles widely as I enter the room.
"You're right!" I laugh. "I didn't even realize that. I've been so busy, but I promise to see you guys more from now on."
"Good, I'm glad to hear it." Jack smiles.
