Chapter 10 – Alex

Jack Barakat. The name was echoing inside my head. He was the one, the only one I really wanted so bad it hurt. I wanted him with every cell in my body, ever since I first laid my eyes on him. I have spent nights thinking about him, imagining him by my side, hugging a pillow. And after 3 years, here I am, standing with him in front of the caffe, in his embrace, with his lips pressed on mine. I thought I was dreaming, you know, clound nine and shit like that. But it was very real.
''It felt like the right thing to do.'' His words engraved inside my brain. I didn't say anything, because it was all new to him. I just took him by the hand and we went inside. A hot chocolate later, we were laughing, talking about all the silly moments in our life. His eyes were full of joy, I knew that he was the happiest he's ever been.

''You know what, I can't believe you're the boy I helped pick up the books in first year. Look at you now... doing all this crazy stuff to me.'' He said and looked down, I spotted a little shyness over there.

''Crazy stuff, hmm... I'll take that as a compliment for sure.'' I smiled. ''I was pretty miserable back then, yes. I'm happy I got fed up with it, Zack helped me a lot too.''

''He's a real friend, down to earth guy. But you, you are really something. You know... a year ago, if somebody said that I'd be falling for a guy right now, I would probably laugh at them.''

''You're falling for me?'' It just came out of my mouth. I blushed and shut up.

''Don't be shy Alex, I'm not afraid to admit it. I like you a lot, kissing you tonight... it was just...''

I kissed him before he could finish the sentence. Now I felt like it was the right thing to do.
His palm rested on my neck, his thumb caressing my cheek. He really pulled me closer, grabbed me tighter and it all became more intense. I felt heat travelling from my chest to my head, tiny bits exploding inside me, getting harder between my legs. I pulled away.

''Shit, Jack, wait.'' I started giggling. ''You alright?'' He asked, but then he saw me laughing.
''Yeah, I'm super, it's just that...'' I didn't wanna say it out loud, so I pointed at my crotch.
''Oh...'' he said and covered his mouth with his palm. ''Sorry, we'll leave this for some other time then.'' He winked at me.
Well fuck, that didn't help me at all.

We paid and he gave me a ride home. He stopped at the driveway, and said to wait in the car for a minute. He got out of the car and opened the trunk. He pulled something out and returned to the car. He was holding a small package, nicely wrapped with a bow on it. He handed it to me.

''Here, this is a small gift. Merry Christmas Alex.'' I was surprised, was not expecting that. ''Oh Jack, you shouldn't have.''
''Come on, open it.''
I carefully unwrapped the gift and inside I found two bracelets. They were both made of black leather and they both had an infinity symbol on. On each side of the symbol, there was a letter, first A, then J.
''One for you and one for me, our name initials and our forever.'' I could feel my eyes getting all teary. Is he asking me to be his boyfriend? Gosh, I was so nervous, but I tried not to show it.

''Wow, Jack, thank you, this is a very lovely gift, it's perfect.''
''So are you.'' He said.
I blushed. ''Well, I'm far from perfect.''
''But you're perfect for me. I'm so glad I got to know you.'' He said and kissed me.
I wanted him so bad, everytime he kissed me, I lost it. I could only see, feel him. I needed more of it.

''Do you wanna come inside?'' I whispered. He didn't even say anything, He just got out of the car, as did I. I took him by the hand and led him to the door. I unlocked and we quietly went upstairs to my room. I closed the door and pushed Jack to the wall. I kissed him and started rubbing him everywhere.

It's all I ever wanted, I could do it all the time.
