“Fuck Jack.. what’s going on?” I ask

“ALEX WHAT THE HELL DID I TELL YOU. FUCK OFF.”

“Jack. You’re my best friend. Stop it. What’s going on?”

*no response.*

“God dammit Jack. You know what? I don’t fucking care anymore!”

*I storm out.*


I don’t care anymore. If he doesn’t want to tell me then I don’t give a fuck. I’m not going to fucking work for it. Fuck him.

“Is Jack okay? I’m worried about him. He won’t answer any of my texts or calls.”

“Do you at least know where he is so I can go try to talk to him?”


I don’t know if I should tell her.. But I can’t be a total jackass to Jack.


“Last I heard he was at Rian’s.”

“Okay thank you sweetie. C: I’ll talk to you soon.”

*Knock’s on Rian’s door.”


“Oh hey Ky, come in” Rian answered.

“Hey, is Jack here by any chance?”

“Yeah, one second, I’ll go get him.”

“Kylie, he dosen’t really want to see anyone right now. I’m sorry.”

“Rian please.. just let me see him.”

“Okay. But if he kills me it’s on you.”

“He won’t” I answer, walking into the room.

“Jacky, baby what’s wrong?”

“Please go away Kylie.” Jack says, not looking at me.

“No. Babe, please tell me what’s going on. Please. I hate seeing you hurt.”

*he looks at me, tears streaming down his face.*


Oh no. Poor Jack. I can actually feel my heart sinking. I hate seeing him like this. He shouldn't be feeling this pain. I need to know what's going on. Right now.


“Oh. Jacky, Shhhh. It’s okay. What’s going on” I say, pulling him into my arms.”

“I don’t know, its just one of those days.”

“Okay. Well I’m here now. I’ll leave if you really want me to, otherwise I’ll be here as long as you want.

“Stay?”

“Of course Jack.” I say, kissing his forehead.


Eventually he falls asleep in my arms. So I decide to text Alex.


“Hey baby.” I say.

‘Hey sweetie. I miss you.”

“Awe. I miss you too.”

“What’s going on with Jack?”

“I don’t know, he just cried himself to sleep in my arms, he said he’s just having one of those days.”

“Awe. Poor Jacky-poo.”

“I know. :c”

“Well, when can I see your beautiful face again?”

“ I don’t know lexi. Probably tomorrow, It all depends on how Jack is doing.”

“Okay baby, I’ll talk to you soon.”

I silently get up, laying jack down on the couch, and putting a blanket on him. Then I went to go find Rian.


“Hey Rian, what’s going on with Jack.”

“He’s just having one of those days” He responded.

“Rian. Don’t lie to me. Tell me what made Jack like this.”

“I can’t. I promised I wouldn’t.”

“I don’t give a shit Rian, I need to know what’s making him so upset.”

“You and Alex.”

“What-what do you mean..” I ask silently.

“He wants to be with you Kylie. He dosen’t want you to be with Alex.”

“Okay.. Um. I’ll be back. I’m going to take a walk. If Jack wakes up, tell him I’ll be right back.

“Okay Kylie..”

I feel so terrible. I just want Jack to be happy. I never wanted to hurt him like this. Maybe I should break it off with Alex. I don’t know.. I really want to be him. He makes me so happy. But if that’s the only thing to make Jack happy then I guess that’s what I’m going to have to do…
