I guess I should listen to Kylie. I really do like Harmony. She’s beautiful, and funny, and smart. She’s perfect. Butterflies fly around in my stomach, and my heart skips a beat when I see her. I really do like her. I just don’t know if she’ll say yes since I used to date Kylie. Girl code or whatever. I don’t know.

“So Harmony. I have a question.”

“Yes Alex?”

“I really, really like you and I was wondering if you would do me the honor of being my girlfriend?”

“Alex.. I don’t know. You dated Kylie..”

“She’s the one that wanted me to do it. She could tell that I like you. So..”

“Well, if that’s the case, then yes. Of course. Alex you make me so happy.” She smiles.

I stood there, breathless. Taking in what she said. Did she really just say she loves me, am I dreaming?

“Oh. Haha, yeah.” I fake a smile.

“Will you listen to music with me?”

“Sure, what do you want to listen to?”

“Ptv.” She smiles.

“Okay. Scoot over. I’ll grab your IPod.”

I settle into bed with her. We cuddle and listen to music. I want to stay like this forever. But it can’t. She doesn’t like me like that. I can only wish..

I feel so bad for friend-zoning Jack. I had too. I wanted to tell him that I loved him, more than a friend, more than anything else in the world, but. I couldn’t. I just.. what if things didn’t work out with him and I? Then what are we supposed to do? We’ll be on tour together, and I don’t want to mess anything up for any of us. I just love him. I want to stay in his arms forever, watch him smile that beautiful smile at me, and watch his eyes light up. He’s amazing. He’s perfect and the only one I ever want to be with. But I guess this is for the best.
