*JACK POV*

i stayed as quiet as i could when i heard alex talking to his friends jenna and tay.

Jenna: Wait, so Mark's son Jack is on tour with you guys as well?

Tay: And you're crushing on him?! How cute, Alex!

alex: Shh! My bunk isn't soundproof! Jack could walk in the bus any second and hear this entire conversation!

Tay and Jenna giggled.

Tay: Sorry, Alex. Well, we've gotta go. We hope everything works out okay. Bye, Alex!

alex: Bye, guys!

my mind was made up for me. alex finally noticed me and asked me what i had heard. i told him that i hadnt heard much but that i wanted him to meet me on the pier. oh yes this was happening.

later on i had already showered and made my self as presentable as possible. my mind was set. as soon as alex gets here im going to kiss him.

"hey" he says. "what did you-" i cut him off by pressing his lips to mine. we kissed for a moment. after we both decided that breathing was important, i rested my forehead on his.

"what?" he asked.
"i lied."
"about what?"
"not hearing your conversation with tay and jenna. i heard all of it."
"is that why you told me to come down here?" i nodded. " i like you alex. i have since before tour"

he told me that he likes me too and being the cocky son of a bitch i am i replied with an "i know." i couldnt stop my self from staring at those beautiful lips of his.

"if you want to kiss me, just do it." he said but i was suddenly nervous. before i could even move i felt his lips on mine.

"YES! i win! billlie joe you owe me $25" my dad said. what the fuck when did he get here?

"dad, billie joe, what the fuck are yall doing here? are we missing something?"
"yeah me and billie joe had a bet going on which would cave first, i bet you would and he bet alex would. he had a strange confidence in you but GUESS WHAT! i won."
"so yall are like okay with this...?" alex asked nervously.
"of course we are. love is love. we all already knew yall were in love, yall just had to figure it out yourselves." my dad answered.
"okay great. now can yall leave us alone for a couple of minutes." they nodded and left, leaving me and alex to talk about what we were.

"so..." alex said.
"look alex, i really like you alot. like alot, alot. and dont get mad when i say this, but i think we need to take things slow. we need to get to know each other better before we jump into a relationship? ya know.. cause i see all these people getting in relationships with people they barely know and then end up breaking up and hating each other. i dont want that to happen to us, im in this for the long run. i dont want this to be a fling."
"yeah i completely agree jack. but we can still kiss and stuff, right?" he said oh so cutely.
"of course. thats part of getting to know each other." i said adding a flirtatious wink at the end then leaned down and pressed my lips on his.
"this could be the start of something new."
"JACK what the fuck, tell me you didnt quote High school musical?"
"i did, sorry." i said with a huge smile. "come on lets go for a walk and maybe some ice cream." and with that, we walked off the pier hand in hand on our way to get ice cream. i really like this boy.
