Bailey’s Perspective

I met Alex Gaskarth one day after Lunch during freshman year. We were leaving the cafeteria, when he tugged gently on my arm.

“Hey, you know Jack Barakat?” He asked.

“Yeah, why?” I asked back, and then I looked into his eyes. They were a deep, gorgeous brown that hypnotized me immediately.

“He’s my best friend and I really like fucking with him, so you’re going to help me do that,” Alex told me.

“Um, okay.” I laughed as I let him pull me down the hall by my arm.

“I’m Alex, by the way. Alex Gaskarth,” he told me.

“What kind of name is Alex Gaskarth?” I asked.

“It’s my name. What’s yours?” He asked back.

“Bailey Andrews,” I replied.

“Well, Bailey Andrews. It looks like our good friend Jack is fast asleep at his desk. What to do, what to do…” Alex said, stroking his chin in mock thought as he peeked through the little window on the door to my math classroom.

“I have an idea.” I grinned.

We creeped in and I put my face near Jack’s ear.

“You will die in seven days,” I whispered menacingly.

Jack jumped awake and let out a girly scream, running to hide behind Alex.

“Alex, the mean girl scared me!” Jack whined.

Alex just laughed at him and high fived me.

“You were in on this?” Jack asked.

“Sorry, dude, you make it too easy.” Alex chuckled.

That was it. That was all it took for me to fall in love with Alex Gaskarth.
