Happy Fathers Day
Chapter 7
Jack was in the waiting room, pacing nervously back and forth awaiting the doctor to let him know what the fuck was going on with his husband.
"Jack, you have to calm down. He and the baby are gonna be fine." Joyce said from behind him, he'd called her about an hour ago and told her that it was okay to bring Hayden up to the hospital. The now 6-year old child was curled up on Joyce's lap, small snores escaping her mouth, reminding Jack of Alex when they were teenagers. Smiling at the thought, Jack hadn't noticed the doctor enter the room.
"Mr. Barakat? I'm Dr. Fuentes." (A/N CAN WE ALL JUST IMAGINE VIC AS A DOCTOR OKAY?!?!?) He stuck his hand out towards Jack and he took it, shaking it lightly.
"Is he okay?" Jack asked nervously.
Dr. Fuentes let out a breath and nodded, smiling a bit. "The pains he had in his stomach are normal for men who get pregnant. Since they're not females, they're bodies aren't used to having something growing in them. That's why he had pains."
"But with our first child...?" Jack raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Not every pregnancy is the same Mr. Barakat. They differ for every person. But your husband and soon to be child are okay. We just need you to sign the release forms and you can be on your way." He held out a clipboard along with a pen and Jack signed, anxiously awaiting for his husband.
The moment he saw the blonde male walking out to the waiting room, he ran to him, wrapping his arms around his waist and kissing his cheek.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Jack whispered.
"I'm glad everything's okay too baby." Alex smiled, kissing his husbands lips quickly before walking over to Joyce, hugging her and thanking her for watching over Hayden.
"It was no problem, Alex. I'd do anything for you boys." Joyce smiled, sleepiness showing in her eyes.
Alex picked up his daughter and kissed her head. Jack watched in total admiration. His husband was perfect in every sense of the word, he was kind, caring and loved his daughter more than anything in his life. Except maybe Jack. Jack held a very special place in his heart that not even his daughter could hold. Not to sound mean or anything.

When the couple finally got home, it was nearing 6 in the morning.
"Looks like I'm not going to work today." Jack mumbled in Alex's ear once they were in bed.
The elder giggled, yes giggled, and rolled over so that he could kiss Jack.
They had put Hayden back to bed and since it was so late, or early, whichever, they had told Joyce to stay and she was now downstairs sleeping.
"I love you so fucking much." Jack whispered, kissing his husband again and pressing their foreheads together.
"I love you too." Alex whispered, closing his eyes as Jack kissed down his neck.
"I thought I was going to lose you or the baby. I was so scared." Jack mumbled, biting a certain spot on Alex's neck that had the elder gasping and tugging at Jack's hair.
"Baby, you aren't ever going to lose me. I promise. Me and the baby will be right by your side every step of the way now."
