Twenty Six
Bella clutched her bump tight as she looked at Paige, with a worried look on her face.
"Bella.. what's happening?" Paige asked, caution all over her face.
"Paige.. I.. I think.. oh God.."
"What?"
"All those times I was told at the classes, I can't believe it. Paige, I think I'm going into labour. Shit. I mean, it makes sense, I've been getting.. pains.. in my stomach.. every so often.."
"How often were they?!" Paige screamed, jumping from the sofa and beginning a frantic search to find her phone. "Why didn't you say something before?!"
"I thought she was just being a little bitch and kicking me to death! But no, she was being a little bitch and telling me she's ready to come out!"
At that point, Paige stopped everything she was doing. She ran over to the sofa and sunk to her knees.
"Erm, Paige. What do you think you are doing?"
Paige knelt between Bella's legs, face to face with her crotch area. "HOLD ON, WE'RE NOT READY FOR YOU YET. STAY UP THERE. REPEAT. STAY. UP. THERE."
Bella burst into fits of laughter. "Oh God, Paige, please don't! I feel like I'm gonna piss myself! Stop it!" Bella screamed as she laughed.
"No seriously, stay up there!" Paige pointed a finger at Bella's bump. "So how often have you been getting these 'pains' that you talk about?!" Paige attempted a stern face. "Come on, this is serious, stop laughing!"
Bella controlled herself. "I don't know! Probably.. probably about one every three hours or so! I don't know because I didn't think that's what they were!"
"You do realise we need to call the boys."
"I would prefer you get me to the fucking hospital first."
"Why? Your waters haven't.." Paige looked Bella in the eye, noticing the glare as Bella stood up. She looked down and noticed a wet patch on the floor. "..broken.. yet.." Paige gulped. "Well shit." Paige tilted her head to one side. "This could present a problem. For you. I only just fucking cleaned that floor yesterday."
"Paige!"
"You're cleaning that up! And YOU!" She held her serious face as she pointed a finger at Bella's bump. "YOU are going to regret that, Isobel!"
"Paige! It hurts! Can you not?!"

"Your phone is ringing, dude." Rian pointed over to the side table on the tour bus, where Alex's phone was vibrating and blaring music. Alex dived towards the table, grabbing his phone before it stopped ringing.
"It's Paige!" He answered the phone. "HELLO?!"
"Alex, we have a situation down at the base. Preggo is hatching her eggo." Paige laughed.
Alex heard Bella in the background; a mixture of crying, laughter and words which sounded like death-threats. Which, knowing Bella, they probably were. He tried to stifle his laughter as best as he could, before realising the seriousness of the situation. "SHIT. You mean.. she's.. she.. she's in.."
"Yes."
Alex dropped the phone, standing dead still. His face turned pale. "Shit." He muttered very quietly.
Rian, Jack and Zack looked up with wary faces.
"Shit. Shit shit shit, shit shit." Alex started pacing the tour bus, picking up his phone as he walked. "Well what the fuck do I do?!"
"You have to get your ass back here!" Paige screamed down the phone.
Just then, Matt walked onto the tour bus. His face froze when he saw the four boys all turn to look at him, each of them gulping. Alex especially, looking like he was about to vomit. "Erm.. what's wrong, you guys?"

I just read this story and its prequel and sincerely loved them both. You're an amazing writer, and these stories dealt with a lot of emotions, ranging from sad to loving and I just really enjoyed them both. You captured both of these themes really well. It took me a few chapters to get into the first story, but once I did, I was hooked and just kept reading until I finished this one. All within... two days I believe, I just couldn't stop reading it.
Even though it's been a few years since you've posted them, I just thought I would leave a comment and let you know I really enjoyed them. Great job with them. Just wanted to show people like me are still stumbling across them and enjoying them. <3
I'm bummed to see you haven't written anything else; if you ever choose to one day, let me know and I will for sure read what you have. You're a very talented writer and I would love to read more of your writing. No pressure though, lol.
