Bella was now thirty weeks pregnant. The time was flying by and Matt had put off all talk of another tour taking place, because he knew that he would get no attention from anybody, with Bella being so close to her due date. And in all honesty, Matt was quite excited too. They were all like one big happy family. One big happy but stressful family.

Knowing that she could go into labour at any moment, Bella ran around the house in a frenzy. Alex was chasing round after her, trying to calm her down and failing badly. Bella was adamant that she needed to pack up a hospital bag for when she went into labour, because she didn't think that Alex could be trusted to remember everything she would need, should she be rushed in. Bella had told Alex this, and he'd laughed in her face. But everyone else who was there at the time, had sided with Bella. Alex couldn't tell whether they were on her side because she was hormonal or because she was correct. But he let her get on with it all the same.

"Bella! Will you calm down?! You're gonna throw yourself into labour in a minute, if you're not careful!"

"Well at least she'll get here quicker!"

"Yeah and she will be premature! Just slow the fuck down!" He tried to reason as he wrestled a bag out of Bella's hands.

"Alex, I'm sorry. Look, I'm just excited! I just want.. everything now! I want to be prepared! You know how much of a freak I am when it comes to having everything perfect!"

"Bella. You're not gonna be able to have everything perfect when you give birth. Sorry to break it to you. It'll happen when it happens. What the fuck have you got in here anyway?! This thing is hench!" Alex strained as he almost dropped the bag. He placed it on the back of the sofa and opened it up completely, digging it to see what he could find. "Hair straighteners? Really, Bella?"

"Well.. I want my hair to look nice.."

"Hair curlers? Bella!"

"What?!"

"Makeup!"

"Yes, and?"

"You might not even be in there long enough to need any of this crap!" Alex laughed as he removed the beauty products from the bag. "Seriously, what else is in here?"

"Nothing.."

"Bullshit! ..nail varnish? Okay, no. This stops here. I am going to pack your bag for you, I don't care what you say!"

"BUT ALEX."

"NO BUTS."

"..except mine?" Bella snickered, watching Alex's face turn from confusion to understanding and squealing when he ran towards her, dropping the bag and draping his arms around her waist.

His hands lowered down her back and groped her bum. "Your butt is my butt, okay? Good. Now seriously, go sit down or something. I am going to pack this stupid bag for you, and you will not mention another word about it." Alex pointed to the sofa and Bella followed his direction, moping and dragging her feet across the floor and pouting as she sat down. Alex flipped Bella off, laughing as he picked the bag back up and headed for their bedroom.

He walked towards the set of drawers opposite their bed and scanned them carefully.

"We're back!" Zack yelled as he walked through the main door.

"And we bought gifts!" Paige squealed happily. "For you. And Alex. And the baby." Paige walked over to Bella, sitting down next to her.

"GIMME. WHAT DID YOU GET US?" Bella shouted.

"Ah ah ah! Wait for Daddy to come back. Where is he?"

"Packing my bag!" Bella crossed her legs where she was sitting, folding her arms over her chest and pouting. "He said I hadn't packed the right stuff and that he was going to pack it. He's been up there like ten minutes. How long does it take?" Bella's arms flailed around.

"If you want your bag packed properly, then it's gonna take a while! Rather than the shit you put in there!" Alex exclaimed as he walked down the stairs, holding Bella's bag on one shoulder. "Right, your bag is all ready and packed, should you go into labour now or in a few weeks. Anyway, I overheard the conversation. What did you get us?" Alex asked as he put the bag down next to the sofa, and plonked himself down next to Bella. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and wrapped his arm around her, smiling and pulling her in close.

"Well.. we know that you two haven't even started painting the spare room for the nursery.." Paige started.

"Shit. Y'know, I knew we forgot something!" Alex remembered. "Shit!"

"Fuck! What are we gonna do?!" Bella worried.

"If you would let us finish.." Zack replied. "Go look in those bags behind us." He pointed over his shoulder to a massive bag that was shut at the top.

Bella and Alex exchanged a weird glance as they slowly walked over to the bag, worrying what was about to come out of it. "Who's gonna put their hand in first?" Bella looked at Alex, chewing her bottom lip.

"You do it.." Alex chuckled.

"No, you!"

"Oh for heaven's sake, one of you do it!" Paige shouted, getting over-excited.

Alex bit his lip as he opened the bag and reached in. He looked up at Bella and shot her a massive smile. "Baby, look in here." He whispered to Bella, who did as she was told.

"Oh my God! You guys! You shouldn't have!"
