The Last Night

Black. Pain. Numbness. That was all Alex could register. That is, until his ears seemingly decided to stop being unresponsive.

"-so sorry baby. I can't believe I left you. I said I wanted to protect you." The voice was fuzzy but he knew it belonged to Jack . If he could register any body movement, he would have felt his heart drop.

How on earth could Jack blame himself for any of this?

Alex pulled his eyes open, using about a tenth of his energy to do so. He looked to see Jack's hand in his. Why couldn't he feel it. His eyes then found their way to the bandage around his wrist. Oh. That's why.

"Jacky what's happening?" He whispered. Tears gathered in his eyes at lightening speed.

Jack's eyes flew to Alex. Alex nearly choked when he felt the other boy's lips attack his own. It didn't feel bad this time like I did with his dad. In fact, he felt his stomach flutter. Alex was surprised by the intensity of which Jack was kissing him. When he finally pulled away he pressed a light peck to Alex's nose.

"If you ever fucking do that again we will have some serious problems." Jack whispered with tears in his eyes. "How dare you think I wouldn't care. Do you have any idea how much I love you?"

Alex gasped. Love? Jack loved him? He couldn't help but smile.

"I'm sorry. I love you too."

I apologize for not posting sooner, I'm just dealing with my mind at the moment.
Also I'm STILL trying to get full ownership of this story, the original author still hasn't contacted me and I can't find her on any other social media so it's hard to contact her.
Along with that, happy (almost) four months for my boyfriend- Joe, and I on the 30th! I know I mention him in practically every note, sorry for that. We're in an LDR but it's worth it.
Have a happy and safe Halloween as well, I might go partying or pass out candy. Not sure yet.
