Jessica's P.O.V
The taxi pulled up outside his house, I got out and payed. 'Well, here goes nothing' I thought to myself as I walked up to the door. I'm 18 years old and today is the first time I'm ever meeting my Dad, the only thing is, he has no idea that I exist.
I knocked twice and the door flew open to reveal a man about 6ft tall with jet black hair and deep brown eyes just like mine smiling at me with a warm, welcoming smile.
"H-hi I'm Jessica, you must be Andrew?" I said nervously.
"Sorry, I don't know any Jessica's, you must have the wrong house" He replied. well, this is embarrassing.
"No, you don't know me" I began explaining "But you know my mum, Tracy, you left her 18 years ago whilst she was 2 months pregnant with me, you had no idea about it, as she never had the chance to tell you, she brought me up on her own at the age of 18, and 18 years on, here I am meeting you for the first time. I'm your daughter, Jessica Nash, it's nice to meet you, Dad."
"This can't be true" He whispered in shock.
"Well it is" I said.
"Well, then Hi, it's nice to meet the daughter I never knew I had." He said, we both laughed and he invited me in.
"Wow" I breathed "How can you afford a house this big and fancy?" He chuckled.
"It pays off having a rockstar son who still lives at home."
"Roscktar son?" I asked, confused "You mean, I have a brother?"
"Oh yeah, would you like to meet him?" He asked
"Of course!" I all but shouted. He chuckled again.
"ALLEX! GET DOWN HERE NOW! THERE'S SOMEONE I'D LIKE YOU TO MEET!" Dad shouted up the stairs. Wait, so my brother's a rockstar and he's called Alex? It's not.. Suddenly, Alex fucking Gaskarth walked around the corner! 'be cool' I thought.
"And you are?" He asked me, rudely.
"I'm your sister, Jessica." I said with the same amount of rudeness in my voice. Alex's eyes went wide.
"Now now you two, can't you just get along, I mean, this IS the first time you've met" Dad butted in.
"I'd be a little happier if I was warned about this before hand, I mean, she's a fan!" Alex whined, wait, how did he know?
"I had no warning either, Alex, she just showed up here today!" Dad said.
"Alex, how did you know I'm a fan?" I asked suspiciosly.
"We met last week outside the Orlando show, silly" He teased, pulling me into a hug. My mind went blank.
"Did we?" I asked.
"Yeah, remember? Your friend saidwe looked alike, I guess now we know why!" He laughed.
"Oh yeah, sorry, there's just a lot to take in today" I said.
"I understand" He replied.
"Hey, how about we all sit down and get to know eachother?" Dad suggested, and that's what we did.
"So, Jess, tell us about yourself" Dad said
"Well, I'm 18, as you already know. I graduated school early at 16 and became a photographer, I did kickboxing for 5 years and ballet for 3. Every thrusday night, I perform at the open mic night in the coffee shop down the road." I said.
"Lets hear you sing!" Alex shouted, excitedly.
"Okay" I said, I sang with ears to see and eyes to hear by sleeping with sirens. When I finished the song they both clapped and said
"You should be in the music industry Jessica! That was amazing"
"Thanks" I blushed "I get told that a lot"
We spent hours getting to know eachother, it was great! But all too soon it was time for me to go. I hugged them both goodbye and agreed to come back tomorrow when the rest of all time low were here. I was so excited!
