Alex's POV
My boyfriend Jack and I have been speaking every day for the past 2 and a half years, the only difference in this 'Love Story' is that we live thousands of miles away from each other and we've never actually met. He lives in the USA and I live in England, Essex. We've only spoken through skype, facebook and text/calls. My mother knows all about my relationship with Jack and doesn't exactly approve, but she supports me nonetheless.
"Alex honey, you're going to be late if you don't hurry!" My mum yelled up the stairs. "Okay mum!"
Tomorrow is Jack's birthday and i thought i'd fly out and surprise him. I've been saving up for the cheapest plane ticket, which was £367, and i have everything planned in my head, i just hope everything goes to plan. My mum insisted on helping me with the ticket and driving me to the airport.
It's currently 4pm, 11 am in America, and my flight leaves at 5:30pm. I'll check into a hotel for the night and hopefully brighten up his day..
*TIME SKIP- BAGGAGE CHECK IN- TIME:5PM*
"Is that all your luggage today, sir?" The woman behind the desk asked me, with a polite smile as I loaded my black duffel bag onto the scales to be weighed. "Yes, thanks." I replied with a small smile. The woman nodded and pressed a button behind the desk and the duffel bag was taken on a conveyor belt through to another room. "Okay, please make your way to gate 21 and wait for your flight to be called. Have a good day." She smiled warmly.
I slung my the backpack i was using as cabin baggage over my shoulder and felt my phone vibrate. I pulled it out from the back pocket on my black skinnys and immediately grinned at the illuminated screen.

'Lex, are you alright? you haven't responded to any of my other texts xx
It was just then i noticed the 4 other texts Jack had sent and I immediately felt guilty.
I Lifted my gaze from my phone and found myself about to walk into some signs. I Laughed at myself and me eyes began to scan the signs. I stopped at a sing that said GATES 20-30 ->' I turned that way and replied.
To:My Jacky <3
I'm fine Jay, just didn't hear my phone <3 Mum's taking my phone now. I Love you <3 xxx
I Felt bad lying to Jack, but i really had no other choice
"Gate 21 now called for boarding! Gate 21 is now boarding!" The intercom boomed throughout the terminal. My stomach erupted in butterflies.
I stood up and turned my phone off, before going to join the 'Departure' line. "Have a nice flight, sir." I Nodded, not particularly paying the slightest bit attention and walked onto the plane. I Was told to sit in a seat labeled 7A
I Slowly took my seat and pulled out my Ipod and earphones. 8 hour flight here I come! (A/N: I have no idea how long the flight actually is)
***Time skip- At hotel***
"Room for one night please." I said to the bored looking receptionist. He couldn't be more than 20. "$48. 97 please" He monotoned. I Handed over the exact amount and he gave me a keycard with the number 32 on it. "Second floor. Have a nice stay." He said dully.
I Found the room with ease, opening the door i examined it. Deep red themed, black duvet, red pillows, the red and black theme continued into the bathroom. I Dropped my bags in the middle of the room and flopped onto the bed. I Fell asleep quickly after.
****Time skip- Morning- Time: 11am***
I Woke up to 'Whats my age again' playing. It was to remind me it was Jacks birthday. Like I'd ever forget!. I got out my phone and decided to text Jack to wish him a happy birthday.
(J-JACK A- ALEX)
A-Hey Baby! Happy birthday! <3 Xx
J- Thanks Baby! Wish you could be here :( Xxx
A-Me too, Jay. We'll meet one day Xxx
J-How can you be so sure, 'Lex? xx

I put my phone down and changed into some fresh clothes . I Then picked up my bags and went down to the lobby. I Asked the receptionist to call me a cab and she gladly agreed. Right now, Jack should be opening the signed Blink-182 shirt and CD i got him. As if on cue, my phone began to ring. I quickly found it was Jack calling me and i picked up immediately, and Jacks heavenly voice filled my ears.
"Holy shit 'Lex! They're fucking signed!!" Jack squealed like i girl, making me laugh.
"I Guess you like it then?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"Fuck Yes! This is the best birthday ever!" Oh, he has no idea.. I Added in my head.
"I'm glad you like them Jay. W-" "Sir, your cab is here!" The receptionist called, cutting off what i was saying to Jack.
"Baby, i need to go now, I love you." I Cooed into the phone.
"Okay Lex, Love you too." I Could practically hear the grin in his voice.
I Put the phone away and picked up the duffel bag i had dropped sometime during the phone conversation, and made my way outside. There was the taxi. The only thing standing in the way of Jack and I meeting. I Climbed in and gave the driver Jacks address. This is it! (SEMPITERNAL!)
JACKS POV
Alex has been pretty distant lately and it's beginning to scare me, this has never happened before. We have only spoken about a dozen times in the past 2 days. I miss my Lex. I was pulled from my thoughts by the doorbell ringing. I Groaned before getting up and walking to get the door. And there stood..
Herald. The postman.
I Quickly signed for my moms package and shut the door over. I Layed the package on the dining room table with a sigh, before going back to watching home alone.
The doorbell rang again I FUCKING HATE THE POSTMAN!!
AALEXS POV
The taxi just pulled up outside a house that i'm guessing belongs to Jack, and I've never been so nervousin my entire life!
I threw 40 Dollars at the driver and climbed out of the taxi. My knees were visibly shaking and i wasn't sure whether i could remain standing or not, but i couldn't help but let out a small sob. I'm going to meet the love of my life!!!
I Slowly climbed the steps that lead to the front door and decided on ringing the doorbell instead of knocking. After a few moments, the door opened and there Jack stood in all his glory. He was wearing black skinny jeans and the Blink-182 i had gotten him. Jack is right there! MY jack! The love of my life!
"Hey Herald, what'd you forget this t-" He looked up from his phone and seemed to freeze. I Saw tears build in his eyes. Oh god he hates it!
"Ah-Alex?" I Came out no more than a whisper. I Simply nodded, unsure of what to say. A single tear ran down his cheek and i held my arms open. Jack seemed to fly into them and gently sobbed into my shoulder.
"You're actually here.." He whispered.
"I'm here, Jay." I Kissed his dark hair. It smelt like raspberries. Jack hugged me tighter and i took the time to take in his scent. It's not creepy! He smelt like mint, coffee and cologne. It was just then I realised that I was also crying. Tears of joy.
Jack pulled away and reached up, caressing my cheek, his dark eyes never leaving mine. Slowly Jack leaned in and I did the same. When our lips finally touched, there was fireworks everywhere and i smiled into the kiss. Jacks hands soon became tangled in my hair, and my hands moved to his waist. I Felt him smile into the kiss.
I Can finally kiss my baby! We pulled away all too soon and he rested his forehead against mine. "You're finally here.." He murmered, eyes locked on mine.
"I love you, Alexander Gaskarth." He stared into my brown eyes. "And I love you, Jack Barakat."
