Alex's POV

The first Monday back hadn't been as bad as I expected. Saying that, I still had one lesson to go.

I wandered into the canteen, alone. Everyone else had been there for a good 10 minutes or so and had almost all finished their food.
"Alex!" I heard a familiar voice cry out. "Baby where were you?" She wrapped her arms round my neck and hugged me tight, as if I hadn't seen her in years. I hugged her back, taking in the strong smell of her flowery perfume and slight hint of coffee.
"I needed to pee." I opened my eyes and rested my head on Tay's shoulder to find Jack staring at us - well, staring at me. He sighed and turned back to his food, poking his pasta with his fork. Confused, I untangled myself from Tay's grip, receiving a kiss from her - a slow, passionate kiss.
"Get a room guys!" Rian directed towards us, gaining a few laughs from people around, but we didn't stop. I'd missed her. She'd spent the last 3 weeks of the holidays in Spain with her family, so I hadn't seen her in a while. My hand lowered from her waist to her ass.
"Alex,"
I reluctantly pulled away from Tay's lips, giving Jack a stern "What?!" in the process.
"I just- It doesn't matter" I gave him a quick 'what the fuck dude' look before grabbing Tay's hand and leading her towards the table of our friends, allowing her to sit on my lap. I looked across the table to find Jack staring at me.
"You okay bud?" he looked upset, really upset. Infact, he looked like he was about to cry.
"Yeah...I'm fine." he replied, sliding his chair back and standing up.
"Where are you going?" he looked back, tears threatening to roll down his face. Without answering, he spun around and walked off, picking up pace as he went.
