~Jack's POV~

Smut Warning

Today was the day of the September ball, and I was walking home to get ready. The ball started at 7, so I had plenty of time, but I wanted to get to Alex's early so we can hang out before. I wanted to drive to the event, but my mom wouldn't let me use her car; I couldn't be trusted to drive. I reached my house, and practically ran upstairs, the quicker I was, the more time I got to spend with Alex.

I stepped out of the shower, and put my suit on. Mine and Lex's suits were practically matching; we both had a simple, but classy black and white number, but I had a blue tie, and Alex wore a red. Once I had my suit on, I styled my hair, using more hairspray than I think I've ever used before. It was nearly 5, and I packed my things to stay at Alex's, and made my way downstairs.

"Oh, Jack, honey, you look beautiful!" My mom ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Thanks, mom." I replied, I never knew how to reply to compliments, so I always just thanked people awkwardly.

"Come and sit down for a minute." Joyce pulled me over to our little couch in the front room. "I love you, you know that?" She asked me.

"Mom, of course I know that, I love you too." I looked up at her, and she was starting to tear up.

"May and Joe would be so proud of you, you've grown into a handsome young gentleman." She smiled at me, and I didn't know how to reply. I wasn't expecting anything like this. "Alex is a lovely young man, go and make sure you make him as happy as you make me." She smiled again, and a silent tear ran down her cheek. I leaned in for a hug, and I stayed in her embrace for some time. Then she pulled away. "Right, now get your ass out of my house," my mom laughed, wiping her eyes. "You don't want to keep your date waiting!"

"I won't, thank you mom, for everything." I kissed her cheek and got up. She walked me out of the house and said her goodbyes, and then I strolled to Alex's house. A few tears escaped my eyes on the walk, but they were more happy than sad. I reached Alex's house, and rung the doorbell. After no more than 10 seconds, Alex answered and let me in. We agreed to meet everyone one here, so we could get to the ball together. I walked into the living room, with Alex attached to my side, and greeted everyone. Jess and Cass looked beautiful in their elegant gowns, and all the men looked smart in their tuxes. Me and Alex then made our way to the kitchen to get a beer for me.

"You look beautiful." I complimented my boyfriend. He really did. I'm surprised I didn't get a hard on then and there.

"I could say the same for you." Alex smiled back at me, and bent down to get me a drink from the freezer. Damn, his butt looked perfect in the trousers he was wearing.

"Come here." I whispered, as he handed me my beverage. I leaned forward and placed my lips on his, licking his lip and asking for entrance almost straight away. He opened his mouth and our tongues moved together until we were interrupted a few minutes later.

Someone cleared their throat, and I pulled away from Alex, and looked for the person responsible for ruining our romantic moment. Cass was standing in the doorway. "Hey, sorry for ruining the moment, and you're cute and all, but come on! We're all waiting for you!"

We followed Cass back out to join the others and slotted back into the conversation we were in before. 3 beers later, Rian spoke up. "I think we should start heading off now. Everyone agreed, and we made our way to the ball, all the couples hand in hand, apart from Vic and Zack, who stood at the back of the group, making conversation with eachother.

We reached the ball at 7pm, just as it started, and I think literally everyone from the school was there. The place was packed, and music was being played from up at the front. Really shitty music. I decided to overlook that though, neither me or Alex had attended something like this before, and I wanted it to be an experience we would both remember for good reasons.


Most of the night, we just talked to friends. I spoke mostly to Rian, whilst Alex talked to Cass. Through the whole of the ball, we never let go of each others hand once. It was 9pm now, and the music had started to slow down and couples started to dance. Rian and Cass took to the dance floor, giving me and Alex time to ourselves.

"Come to the bathroom with me." Alex whispered into my ear, and he pulled me away from the hustle and bustle going in in the hall. When we stepped into the bathroom, Alex quickly checked all the cubicles to make sure we were alone, and locked the door. Then he practically pounced on me, pushing me to the wall as he crashed his lips down onto mine and started moving his hands all over my body. I pulled away, only to find Alex moving his lips down my jawline and onto my neck.

"Someone's eager." I commented, moaning as he nibbled on my collarbone.

"I'm ready. And I want you." Alex purred seductively. The tone of his voice and they way he took control was enough to tip me over the edge and I agreed with him.

"Shall we take this somewhere else?" I looked at him and he nodded. We unlocked the door to the bathroom, and practically ran out of the building, not bothering to say goodbye to anyone.



We got back to Alex's house after what felt like forever, and I was craving his touch. He unlocked the door with shaky fingers, and we finally got inside.
