--After school--
My phone vibrated. It blinked new message across the top of the screen. I openned it. It was from Bridget... " Hey Bitch! Good to know you're babysitting tomorrow and totes not hanging out with Alex. You're a lair!" I was speechless. He probably told her. I'm so fucked. There goes the only friend I have. I wanted to cry until my phone lit up with a new message, it was from Alex. He said " Hey :) what's up?" Me and him texted until Victoria grabbed my phone. "Who are you texting?" she said with a smirk on her face. My phone had a code so she couldn't get on it. "This guy named Alex" Her smirk turned into a serious face "I don't want you getting hurt by this boy." " I won't, we're just friends." I grabbed my phone and went up to my room.
--In my room--
I continued to text Alex until dinner. Victoria called me down but I said I wasn't hungry. I blasted We The Kings through my speakers while doing my homework. Their music was upbeat so it helped me not fall asleep from being bored. I worked until about midnight. After I was done I walked downstairs to get something to eat. As I was walking into the kitchen the front door opened and in came a drunk Tanner. I hate when he gets drunk, he acts like a complete fucking idiot. Also in came none other than Bridget wrapped around his arm. I couldn't fucking believe the nerve she had. Hooking up with my brother cause i'm ditching her! What the fuck. I'm so done. I pushed both the drunk assholes out of the way so I could go back upstairs.
I called Alex. It rung a few times but he picked up.
'Hellllooo'
'Alex?'
'This is me.'
'Do you want to hang out?'
'Right now?'
'Yeah'
'Sure, i'll pick you up, where do you live?'
'529 Grandy Road'
'I'll be there in 10'
He hangs up. I can't believe I just did that. I barely know this guy and now I'm just gonna sneak out with him. Victoria will kill me. I don't care I need to get out of this house.
--Around 12:30--
I hear a knock at the door. I grab my bag and phone and walk out. Alex says hey and we talked about what happened. "Damn, she's such a bitch." He says. I laugh. "I know right" "My first weekend here and I'm already picking up chicks." "You're so full of yourself" I say jokingly. Alex throws me a smirk and turns on music. A few minutes pass. "So where are we going" I ask. "Patients grasshopper, you'll see."
--Around 1:00--
"Where are we?" I ask. "The dockside, I drove past it and thought it looked cool." "Alright"
We walked up and down the docks for a while until we got tired. We found a bench and sat down. " So Tes, why did you call me out of everyone?" "Well you see, Bridget was kind of my only friend, but she's kind of hooking up with my brother so I couldn't really call her." He was quiet. But he kept looking at me. I turned and watched the water.
--Around 6:00 am--
"TES!, wake up we fell asleep." "Fuck" "Come on we gotta go."
He grabbed my hand, I could hardly see the fog was so bad. We eventually got back to the car. He opened my door and said we should probably wait until the fog cleared up a little bit before we started driving. I agreed. My phone started buzzing. It was Victoria. I answered.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL YOU FOR THE PAST HOUR!?"
"Sorry, I spent the night at my friends house, I must have forgotten to tell you."
"It's okay, get back by noon please."
"Okay"
She hung up. Alex looked at me. "Damn are you a professional liar" He said sarcastically. "Definitely"
Alex drove me back to my house after stopping for breakfast. He stopped at my house and just as I was about to get out he kissed me. I kissed back. He said he'd call later and I said bye. I was freaking out with excitment!!!!
