Wendy, run away with me?

*TIME LAPSE- 2 WEEKS!*
WENDY'S POV:

"Jasey! I need my phone back! I'm talking to someone!" I laughed as I ran after my little sister. I was actually talking to Alex, he wanted me to hang out with him. He was typing something, but I didn't quite read it as Jasey has taken my phone. By the time I had taken it back, she was crying from laughter. I read the text, it said: "Come over to mines, around 6, okay?" I responded with an 'okay' and put my phone aside.

During the past two weeks, me and Alex got closer. But Holly and Jack were hanging out more than usual. I tried to keep it at the back of my mind, but it just keeps crawling back.

By the time it 6 o'clock, I was wearing my skinnies and a Green Day shirt, random Vans and teased my hair. I looked okay. I left yelling out an, "I'm at Alex's house. Okay? Bye!" No response, usual.

As I got closer, I got more nervous. He previously said that he wanted to talk to me about something, what was it, I didn't know.

I knocked at the door, his mom opened it. She led me to the back yard and told me, "Have fun!" I responded with a small 'thank you' and stepped out.

Alex was sitting by the pool, on a chair with another chair next to him. I guess it was for me. He was distracted by his phone so I quietly slid into the chair next to him. After a minute, he had lost the game and looked up, "Oh! Wendy! How long you've been here?"

"A minute or so. It's okay." I replied. We started talking about random things, from movies to music and fame.

"Okay, so let's talk about why I invited you over." He later said seriously. Our laughter toned down, and everything which involved sounds stopped.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked nervously.

"I know I have asked this before. But I'm going to try this again. Wendy, will you go on a date with me?" He asked.

"Alex--" I got interrupted by him.

"No. I know what you're going to say. But please, just one date!" He pleaded. "I'll get on my knees."

"Alex. Don't. Fine! Just one date! We'll see where it gets on from there. Okay?" I responded. He eagerly nodded his head.

"How about tomorrow? I'll pick you up at 7. Okay?" He asked. I nodded my head and he hugged me. Then he told me to go back home and sleep early, so I can have some energy for tomorrow.

"Are you kicking me out Gaskarth?" I teased. He just glared at me and shook his head. I made my way to the door and we stood there for a whole five minutes just staring at each other. I then kissed his cheek and said, "Until tomorrow." And left him standing there, puzzled at my actions.

I went back home to hear a squeaking Holly. "Oh.My.God! You have a date with Alex!"

My mom stopped walking for a second, "Wait, when did this happen?"

"Approximately, five minutes ago." I laughed. My mom shook her head and chuckled but kept moving to the kitchen.

"Who told you that?" I asked her.

"Jack! Duhh!" She said it as it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Gaskarth just can't keep it to his self, can he?" She shook her head at my statement and pulled me over to the couch.

"Explain everything, details!" She sang. Well, I did!

After I did, I went to sleep. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and put my hair into a messy bun. I slid into my bed and thought about the events of today. Nothing important, but was I ready to give Alex a second chance? After he had left me? Ditched me? Broke me? Left me to cry myself to sleep every night? Was it worth it? Will it work with college coming up?

So many questions, so little time! I was tired, but I wasn't able to sleep. So I watched a couple of movies, then took a sleeping pill. That should make me sleep till 1 PM. Meh, what the heck? I still wasn't able to sleep! It was 4 AM for god's sake. I kept twisting and turning in my bed until it was 5 AM. That was when I fell asleep.

Finally, sleep!
