He's been gone for tour, chasing his childhood dreams while she's been working a 9-5 shift every night. Tonight he was coming home, and she was more than excited.

Lisa let her friend know that she's moving back into the house while Alex's back in Baltimore that morning before leaving to do some modeling work. Part of her was worried that Alex found a girl on tour, and was coming home with her instead of him, or maybe he cheated on her again. How could she not be? Constant touring, rarely seeing each other, it was bound to happen; she just didn't know when it was and how to prepare herself.

Sadness aside, Lisa was more than pumped to see her beau. They'd been dating since high school, and now at 25, she knew their love was real.

Alex was in the airport coming home from tour. He was waiting for his flight to be ready to board, and sat in his seat. He was sitting next to Zack and Jack, Rian grabbing a Coke before boarding. He typed on his phone to his girlfriend, sending each other various pictures of them doing weird faces. He missed it so much. Her eyes, her nose, her smile, her everything. So much so, that when he passed by a jewlery store in Japan, saw a perky little diamond engagment ring; he knew for a fact that he loved her. He knew that she was the one, that the stupid little piece of metal and diamond was the one, everything felt so perfect.

"Flight 65 is now boarding."

He shot a goodbye text to Lisa, and put his phone in his pocket. He touched the square box in his pocket, the one that might have held his near future, and smiled to himself.

On the flight, he drifted to sleep. Jack woke him up 10 minutes before landing.

"In about 30 minutes," Jack said. "You might be an engaged man."

Alex's stomach churned. His future was now.

Lisa waited by the baggage carousel, cheeks hurting from smiling. She forgotten all about her usual worries, and couldn't wait to see her guy. She had her phone in hand, and her purse on her shoulder. Her foot was at a non stop, fidgeting with excitement.

She wanted to take the guys to Applebee's. She was starving, and they probably were too. There was jetlag, sure, but she couldn't let Alex sleep. She just wanted to see him.

She waited for another 15 minutes before the passengers came walking off. By now, her heart was in her throat. She should be used to this, the constant airport pick ups, but she wasn't.

Before the guys walked into the actual airport, they stopped Alex.

"Are you ready, man?" Rian said.

"For what?" Alex said, not wanting to think about it. He was so nervous, he'd puke.

Jack pointed to his pants. "Asking Lisa Ruocco to become Lisa Gaskarth, you dumb ass."

"Oh.. Right. Yeah. I think."

"You think?!" Rian snapped. "You can't think, dummy. You just do."

Alex rubbed his face. "Okay, okay! Let's just get it over with. I'm tired and I really just want to ask her before I puke,"

"You're going to end up asking her for a blowjob instead of her hand in marriage," Zack snickered.

Alex started walking calling a mischievous 'Maybe!" to Zack's direction. The 3 all rolled their eyes at each other.

Alex walked out, looking for his -hopefully- future wife. He found her looking in the crowd in front of him with a bit lip. He admired her for a quick second, before she caught his stare.

Her stomach dropped, and she came running after him. He let his carry on bag go, and engulfed her in his arms, holding her tight. "I missed you so much," he whispered in her ear.

"Me too." she said back. She removed herself from Alex's arms, hugging the others. "Hopefully you guys aren't too jet lagged, I'm taking you too Applebee's. My treat."

"I gotta ask you something," Alex said.

"Yeah?" Lisa said, turning to hug Rian.

He quickly dug the ring's box out of his jeans, and dropped to one knee before she turned back around.

And when she did, she burst in tears. "Oh my god," she gasped.

"Marry me." he said.

Everyone around them started to smile.

"Alex, I-"

"Don't think. Just say yes."

She nodded. She held out a shaky hand, letting him slip the ring on. She threw her arms around his neck, chest moving with the tears.

"I can't wait to be your wife, Alex Gaskarth."
