I woke up, after the best night I’ve had in years, next to a lightly snoring Jack. We fell asleep on his huge couch after he gave me the best blow job I’ve ever had. I have to admit that it was weird to have a guy blowing me, but it felt natural. I have never been homophobic or anything in that nature, so I wasn’t creeped out about this whole situation. I was staring at Jack and he must have felt my eyes on him because he opened his eyes and smiled up to me,

“Stop staring at me you freak.” he muttered. I stared down at his brown eyes and laughed, stroking his hair and gently kissing it.

“I’m not staring. I’m admiring you! There’s a big difference.” I said, being cheesy on purpose as I nudged his cheeks slightly, earning a cheeky grin from Jack.

“You are so full of it. Now go make me some waffles, I’m starving!” he whined and rolled over.

“Do I look like a maid to you?” I raised my eyebrows and asked him.

“You look like a guy I just gave – and I quote ‘the best fucking blow job ever’ to, so go make me my damn waffles!” he said turning and smirking at me.

“What’s the magic word?!”

“Bitch, make me waffles because I gave you a blowjob.” He smirked at me and I know I wasn’t going to win this so I got up and slid my boxers on without saying another word. I went to the kitchen grabbed Jack’s waffle maker and made him his damn waffles. Once I finished I brought sat the waffles on the table and called him to eat. We sat there eating and making small talk.

“You have a dirty mouth.” Jack randomly said and giggled with a mouth full of my waffles since he finished his and started eating off my plate.

“Coming from the person with the mouth full of food.” I shot back at him.

“I mean when you’re turned on, you idiot.”

“Oh! Yeah I can’t control it. Sorry?” I blushed, looking down in embarrassment.

“No I liked it. It turned me on more.” He smiled while biting his lip at me. I had to turn away because I was getting turned on again. I got up to take our plates to sink and borrowed some of Jack’s clothes. When I finished I heard my car alarm go off and I went outside to turn it off. I noticed a moving truck outside Jack’s next door neighbor’s house when Jack stepped outside to see what was taking me so long.

“You’re getting some new neighbors,” I stated the obvious.

“But Kate, the woman who lives there, hasn’t said anything about moving out.” He said with a confused look on his face. I shrugged as he walked over and started talking to who I assume was Kate. I walked over behind him so I wouldn’t look awkward standing there and staring.

“My niece is moving in with me so she can start her new job here.” Kate was saying to Jack when I finally made it to her yard. I was just about to introduce myself to Kate when a Silver Dodge Charger pulled up and caught all our attentions. A girl with brown curly hair stepped out of the car. It was funny because she kind of looked like Lisa Ruocco, my old girlfriend from high school. I couldn’t get a good look at her because she stepped out facing the opposite direction of me.

“Guys, this is my niece Lisa.” Kate said with a huge smile on her face. I looked at Jack who was still staring over at Lisa in awe. Lisa turned around and her face went from shock to happiness.

“Alex Gaskarth!?! Is that you?” She asked even though she knew it was me and ran over to hug me before I could answer. “I’ve missed you so much. I thought we would never see each other again. You haven’t changed a bit still your sexy self.”

“Hey! How have you been,” I asked really wanting to know. I really did have feelings for Lisa when we dated.
“Great! We should hang out sometime after I finish unpacking!” She exclaimed.

“Of course I would love too,” I smiled as I handed her my phone so she could put her number in. I glanced at Jack who was giving Lisa the death stare. She handed my phone back and we hugged good-bye. She waved at Jack but I don’t think she remembered him at all; Jack just put his hand up in response and started walking back to his house. I told Kate bye and followed Jack back to his house. He was sitting on the couch with his arms crossed.

“Hey, what’s the matter?” I walked up to him rubbing his shoulder, but he pulled away turning the other way.

“Nothing. Why don’t you go spend more time with Lisa?” he said bitterly. Then it clicked in my head that I had made Jack jealous.

“Jack, you can’t honestly be mad at me? I was just catching up with an old friend.” I tried to reason with him. Walking towards him and reached out to hold his hand but he just shrugged me off.

“Except she’s not ‘an old friend’ she’s your ex-girlfriend, one that you dated for four years” he said still facing away from me. I didn’t think he would be this stubborn.

“Look, you have nothing to worry about, I don’t feel the same way about Lisa that I do about you. We’ve only started talking two weeks ago, but I feel like we’ve been together forever.” I really liked Jack and could see us being together for a long time.

He slightly turn towards me, “Do you really mean that Alex?” he asked slowly. Eyes cast downwards, clearly ashamed that he’s getting jealous because of some girl.

“Yes, Jack! I really do mean it.” I sighed. He turned facing me and put arms around my neck, giving me small pecks on the lips. The pecks quickly turned to making out which went on forever. We cuddled and watched TV until the sunset. He got up after kissing me saying he was going to shower.

“Can I join you?” I asked giving him my famous puppy dog eyes.

“As much as I would like that, you have to go home and get ready for work, and I have a meeting I have to go to in the morning.”

I faked cried while gathering my things and walking towards the door hoping he would change his mind.

“Aw Alex stop it you’re making me feel bad!” he said with a sorrowful look on his face.

I quickly stopped ‘crying’ and asked “Does that mean we can shower together?”

“No, because you were faking. Now come give me kisses and leave.” He giggled walking towards me. I pouted walking to him and connecting out lips. He pulled away and opened the door for me. I kissed him one last time saying bye and going to my car.

I pulled up to my apartment building seeing Rian and Cassadee’s car parked. I was hesitant to walk in because I knew they were going to have something smart to say about me not coming back yesterday. I walked in to them eating dinner at the table. They both looked up at me smiling; here we go.

“Alex” Rian exclaimed, “I thought we were going to have to call out a search party for you.”

“Yeah, but I told Rain you were probably getting it on with your new boyfriend so we didn’t bother you.” Cassadee added. They both were snickering like little kids at this point.

“You guys are children” I said walking towards Cassadee and eating off her plate.

“Jeez, what’s up your butt?” Rian joked, they both were dying at this point. I tried to keep a straight face, but I ended up laughing with them. Their jokes didn’t bother me.

“You guys are assholes!!” I yelled getting up and going to take a shower. I felt all alone since I had to shower by myself. I really had strong feelings for Jack. I don’t think I could say the L word to him yet, but I was pretty damn close. So close.
