Sing It Out

Jack's POV:
I see Alex at the end of the hall, fuck! I quickly turn around and walk fast. Ever since I had that sex dream of Alex, I'm afraid to see him. I keep walking fast and bump into someone. "Woah!," I hear a girl say and I quickly grab her hand to keep her from falling backwards. She stares up at me, oh my god. "Th-thanks." I pull Cassadee up and she fixes her dress and looks at me. "Thanks." She picks up her books and bites her lower lip before looking up at me again. "Your Jack, right?" "Yeah." "I heard that your one of Matt's favorite's now." "Are you one of his?" "Yeah. I usually keep to myself because I want to be more serious about my work." "I get it." "I'm glad you do. Because I was wondering if you wanted to work together sometime." I stare at her in shock. "Not a lot of people around here are as serious as I am. And I can tell that your serious about your work as well." "I haven't really done well since I got here." "But Matt see's something in you. He's really good at that." I stare at her, Rian is really into her, I shouldn't do this. "So what do you say?" Wait, maybe I can help Rian out by hanging out with Cassadee and tell her about him.

"Sure, I'm in." "Great! Meet in the main practice room tomorrow around 4. Don't be late." Cassadee walks off and I let out a deep breath. I start walking and I get tackled to the floor. "What did she say!!!," Rian yells. "Rian get the fuck off of me!" I push him off and get up, glaring at him a bit. "I saw you talking to Cassadee, what did she say!" "She uh, she wanted to uh-" "What! What!" "She wants to work with me!," I say quickly. I stare at Rian, he stares at me in shock. "I'm doing it for you!" "Your right!" Damn Rian is confusing.. "You can help me out by talking to her about me!" "That's what I'm do!-" Rian gets a big smile on his face and sighs, Rian you are a freak... "Can you please tell me what she says and how it goes!?" He grabs the front of my shirt and I try to push him off. "Okay okay!!"

I see Alex and Lisa coming our way and I finally push Rian off. "I have to go!!" I run off before Alex could walk up to us.

Alex's POV:
"Hey Rian, what's going on?" "Cassadee asked Jack to work with her, and Jack is gonna help me out!" Rian is a love sick puppy.... "What else did Jack say?" "He had to go, that's all." "Odd how Cassadee wants to work with someone," Lisa says. "She never works with anyone." "She's talented enough that she doesn't someone to work with." "Guess her talent is slipping and needs one." "Don't talk about Cassadee like that!," Rian snaps at Lisa. "Lisa admit it, Cassadee is one of the most talented people here." Lisa flips her hair over her shoulder and walks off. I did call things off with Cassadee, but she keeps hanging onto me, I fucking hate it. I keep trying to talk to Jack today, but its like every time he see's me, he runs away. I want to make sure he doesn't have any new scars. "How can you stand being around Lisa man, I thought you called things off between you two." "I did, but she still hangs on me. I just want to hang out with Jack without her drama." "What, is she like jealous your hanging out with Jack?" I shrug a bit, "I don't know." "What do you think of Jack?" "He's cool, we're good friends." "No. That's not what I meant."

I stare at Rian a bit, then it hits me. Oh. "I don't know." "Well how about you make sure Jack is into guys before you make a move on him. Don't want to scare the poor boy." "I'm not going to do anything Rian." "Suuure your not." Rian laughs and walks off. Oh how I hate my reputation around here sometimes. I don't even know if I'm into Jack that way, plus I don't even know if Jack is into guys. It just when I'm with Jack, I feel like I connect more with him then any other person... No. I can't think this way. I'm trying to help Jack, not get into his pants.
