*Megan*
A month has passed since we started the tour and we are currently at our last show of the tour in San Francisco, California. I have spent the entire tour caring for Amy and myself and when I'm not doing that, I'm either performing Hold On Till May or Remembering Sunday. This is the first time in a long time that I feel like I'm living life stress free.
The day passes quickly, and it's already time for me to perform Hold On Till May with the other guys, Pierce The Veil. I stand along side the stage till my part comes up.
"If you were me, you'd do the same." I sing as I walk onto the stage next to Vic while the crowd sings along. "Cause I can't take anymore. I'll draw the shades and close the door. Everything's not alright and I would rather..." I continue to stand next to Vic as the boys finish up the song.
"Let's give it up for our pal, Megan." Vic cheers, clapping for me as the rest of the band claps along with him. Who knew this day would ever come? I walk off stage and into the back to reunite with Jack and Amy. When I get back there, I see Alex feeding Amy a bottle.
"He wanted to do it." Jack laughs. "I told him this is not nearly as easy as it may seem." I start to laugh along with Jack.
"Yeah, definitely not." As time passes, it gets to be time for the guys to perform. I follow the same daily routine and walk to the side of the stage to watch them perform with Amy in my arms. When it comes to the point that they're talking to the crowd before Remembering Sunday, I head backstage, handing Amy to the boys of Pierce The Veil as I have done the whole tour.
"This is your last time doing this guys." I say to them. "Be thankful you never have to do this with her again." I laugh.
"Oh, she's not that bad." Tony laughs. After handing her over, I walk back to side stage and prepare myself for my last performance of the tour.
"Oh I can't see now that all of these clouds are following me in my desperate endeavour." Alex sings as I walk on stage. After another line, "To find my whoever, wherever she may be." it comes time for me to sing.
"I'm not coming back. I've done something so terrible, I'm terrified to speak but you'd expect that from me." I sing, still pulling it off as I have the entire tour.
"I've mixed up, I'll be blunt. Now the rain is just washing you out of my hair." Well, I am going to rock this last high note, "And out of my mind, keeping an eye on the world. With so many thousands of feet on the ground. I'm over you now, I'm at home in the clouds, towering over your head."
"I guess I'll go home now." Alex sings finishing Remembering Sunday. The crowd cheers as he shows me off for the last time before I walk off stage, grab Amy from Mike, and go back to the side stage to watch the guys finish their last show of the tour.
After they walk off stage from playing Dear Maria, we head to the back and pack up and get everything onto the bus. Before heading on the road for a very long trip home, we find somewhere to have dinner. While we eat our dinner, we talk about some memories of the tour and have our laughs.
"So, how did you like performing with 2 bands this time?" Flyzik asks me.
"It was definitely surreal." I smile. "I can't believe I'm getting to be somebody because of you guys, along with Pierce The Veil. I really appreciate it and couldn't thank any of you enough."
"Speaking of them, do you think they took care of Amy well when they had to?" Alex asks Jack and I.
"Well, I wouldn't know since I never had to get their input, but from what Megan has told me, I think they did great." Jack answers.
"Yeah, they were." I respond. "I really didn't expect them to take it as well as they did. It's good to know we left Amy in good hands when it came time for it." We finish our dinner and get back on the bus to head on our long trip back to Maryland. After Jack and I get Amy asleep, we decide to lay in our bunks and fiddle with our phones till we eventually fell asleep after pulling into a rest area for the night.
