A couple weeks have passed since Rian and Cassadee's wedding, and they have been better than ever. Ever since we've graduated, we don't see each other very often, but when we do, we make sure to make each moment the funnest we can.
Amy is now 3 months old and I can't believe how quick she has been growing. It feels like she was born just yesterday. But, we all know she's only going to grow more from here.
Today is the 4th of July and we all plan to hang together and watch fireworks at the nearby park that we used to always hang out at together in high school. We get Amy ready for the day and head straight to park to meet up with the rest of them.
When we get to the park, we notice that we're the first ones here of our gang, so we head to the swings to swing Amy in an infant swing to see how she likes it. As we're swinging her and she's enjoying herself, I look up to see Alex and Tay walking up to us, hand in hand.
"Hey, how have you guys been?" Tay asks us as they walk up. "You look like you're doing well."
"We have been." Megan smiles. "Jack and I have been finding tons of things to do to keep ourselves occupied and help Amy grow happily."
"That's great." Alex responds. "She's getting big quick."
"That's for sure." I answer. After a few minutes we watch as Rian and Cassadee walk up and shortly after, Zack and Katie are here. We lay out some blankets and sit down to chat, killing time before the fireworks will start.
"So, how does it feel being married?" Katie asks Cassadee and Rian.
"It's great so far." Cassadee smiles. "I mean it's only been a couple of weeks, but things are perfect so far." Rian leans in giving her a kiss as we go back to chatting.
After a few hours, it gets dark and the fireworks are about to start. I look over at Alex and notice he keeps smiling wide, looking like he has something in mind. Minutes later, the fireworks begin and we start to watch them as Megan feeds Amy a bottle.
I look over and notice Alex standing Tay up and I nudge Megan.
"Megan, look." I say to her as she looks over. As we all look over at Alex, he gets down on one knee and Tay hides the smile on her face trying not to tear up.
"Taylor Jardine, will you marry me?" Alex asks her with a really huge smile on his face. She then nods, joining him in a hug before giving him a couple kisses as the people around us watch in awe, clapping and cheering in which we join along.
After the proposal, we go back to watching the rest of the fireworks, putting Amy back in the stroller to give her some sleep while we chat and watch the fireworks.
"Congratulations, bro." I say to Alex giving him a nudge and smiling as he smiles back. I continue to watch the fireworks, holding Megan close to me, giving her the occasional kiss enjoying every second of tonight.

I haven't decided that yet. I definitely have it in my thoughts though for him to pop up at least one more time. :) Won't be telling you guys my decision though. :) You'll have to learn for yourself.
