I saw Bradley's face, then everything faded to black. I opened my eyes, and I immidiately felt this tremendous pain in my head. Where was I? Everything slowly came back to me, and I started breathing very quickly.
"Hey, she's awake!"
I knew that voice. "Alex?"
"Yeah. Are you okay? You took a pretty bad fall."
I ignored is question. "Where's Blake?"
"Blake? Oh, is that your brother's name? I don't know. He got shot, and I called 911 before you fell. You screamed and that's when you fell. Jack heard the scream and ran back over here. A couple minutes later, the ambulance got here and Jack went with your brother to the hospital. That was about an hour ago. You've been out for a while."
"I need to see Blake."
"No. They called your parents, and they're going to the hospital. You're coming to our bus to wait."
"I really think-"
"No, you don't need to be going anywhere. You're still probably disoriented." This was all so weird. Where is the joking immature Alex I saw in all the interviews? I guess he couldn't joke around right now, but this was way different than what I expected.
"Okay," I agreed. Alex helped me up and led me to the bus where Flyzik. Rian and Zack were. "So, what's your name? I feel like we've been through enough to be on a first name basis," Alex joked. There it was. I smiled a little. "My name's Bridget...but you can call me B."
