~ Eight Weeks Later~
"Becca... do you want kids with me?" Jack asked me as I was making dinner. I froze and stopped what I was doing.

"W-What?" I asked, slowly turning around. I looked at him, watching as he started a new game of solitare. He looked up at me and furrowed his brows.

"Becca? What's wrong? You look pale," he said, and I let my eyes wander to the floor.

"Jack.. umm," I trailed off, and Jack stood up and approached me.

"Rebecca?" He asked, voice soft. I sniffed and fell into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"C'mon, baby. Tell me what's wrong," Jack cooed, and he led me over to the table. He moved his cards into one pile, and I fell into one of the chairs.

"I'm pregnant, Jack," I sniffed, and his eyes widened a considerable amount.

"Then why are you upset?" He asked me, grabbing my hand and lacing his fingers through mine.

"Because I'm scared. I'm scared I'm gonna lose the baby again and let you down," I confessed as thick tears trailed down my cheeks.

"Baby...do not think like that. You won't lose the baby, I promise," he said softly, and I nodded. I held my arms out to him, and he brought me into a gentle hug, rubbing my back, and pressing soft kisses to my head. He let me cry into his shoulder for a while, until I smelled something burning.

"Oh fuck," I said, and I stood up and rushed over to the stove.

"Baby, I got it. You go and sit down. I'll finish up in here," Jack said, and I nodded, kissing him softly in thanks, and I retreated to the living room. I sat myself on the couch, and I kicked my feet up, placing a hand on my belly. My eyes drifted shut, and I let sleep consume me.

I woke up to Jack shaking me. I smiled up at him, and he kissed me gently.

"How's dinner coming along?" I asked, my voice groggy.

"It's midnight, darling. You looked so peaceful, I didn't wanna wake you," he said, and I sat up.

"Oh. It's okay," I muttered, and Jack sat next to me.

"So, are we gonna go do an ultrasound or something tomorrow?" Jack asked, and I smiled.

"If that's what you wanna do," I said with a yawn, and Jack rubbed my back comfortingly.

"Let's get to bed," he said, and I smiled. He helped me up off the couch, and I followed him up the stairs and to our room. I changed into something more comfortable, and I crawled into bed next to Jack.

These next several months would be interesting.

Chapter Sixty!

So, I know that these chapters are short, but they have very good reason to be. There's going to be at least six more chapters to this story, and then it's over. :)
I'm making these as short as possible so I can hopefully get to sixty-six chapters. the last chapter will definitely be longer than these though, so yeah... and there's going to be time skips galore. :)
