The next week was spent with Jack & I packing up boxes in my apartment while we listened to loud music, bugging my neighbors.

I was excited to be moving in with him, & I could tell he was enjoying the fact that I'd be living with him. The pictures of Jack & I kissing at Leatherby's had spread like wild fire. We both tried to ignore it as best we could, but by the time Alternative Press got their hands on the news, there was no stopping anything.

"You guys are so fucked, you know that?" Alex had asked over the phone, to which I had hung up on him. I knew that there was no lying or anything of the sort to get out of the dilemma, & I sighed to myself, knowing that we'd have to come out & admit to everything.

"Jack! We've gotta say something about it," I said to him as we were packing up more boxes still. But, we were finally coming to the end of the boxes, which was great .

"I know, babe," he muttered as he closed a full box of my items.

"It's getting quite annoying. Can we-"

"I know, Rebecca! I'm aware of everything that's being said about it. The fans won't stop talking about it," he said, meeting my eyes. I crossed my arms over my chest & sat down on my bed. I pulled out my phone & snapped a picture of Jack, smiling to myself.

I opened up Twitter & attached the photo to a new tweet, adding the caption, "Packing!" I tweeted it & slipped the phone back into my pocket.

My phone buzzed with notifications seconds later, & I ended up reading the replies. Most of them were something along the lines of 'packing for what!?' I only shut my phone off & tossed it onto the bare bed before finishing up the last box I was filling up. Once that was done, Jack & I lugged them all down to my truck, setting them in the back.

"Finally done," he said. I smiled & he kissed me softly.

"OH MY GOD! It's them!" Someone screeched.

"Fuck me," I muttered as I looked around. Jack pulled me back inside, & I grabbed my phone & keys, him doing the same.

"Be more careful!" I said as we took the steps back down after I locked my apartment up for the last time.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know there would be fans out near your place!" Jack said as we bolted for my truck. However, they saw us & came running. I unlocked the doors hastily & we clambered in, breathing hard. I made sure to lock them, & we sat there as they surrounded my truck. There were only five of them, but damn, five was too many.

"They're taking pictures," I said as tears filled my eyes. Why couldn't they leave us be for a day?

"Hey hey hey.. it's gonna be fine," Jack said, making me look at him. I closed my eyes and nodded, & I started the engine. They all quickly moved, & I peeled away from the curb in the direction of Jac- no. Our house. I smiled to myself as we neared, & I couldn't make the smile go away.

I pulled into the driveway and looked at Jack.

"Welcome home," he said quietly, & all I could do was kiss him. We pulled away, & I killed the engine. We both got out and we hauled all the boxes into the house. It took about an hour, & when they were all inside, we stood in the driveway. Jack's phone was held aloft, & I was pressed against his side, his arm around my waist, holding me. My hand was on his chest as he snapped the picture, & we broke apart so he could post it to Twitter.

I watched over his shoulder as he tweeted it with the caption, "Finally home! x)"

"They are gonna be so mad at us," I said, & Jack pressed his lips to mine in a soft kiss.

"I don't even give a fuck," Jack mumbled against my lips. I smiled & pulled him down by the collar of his shirt, & his hands rested on my hips.

Everything was so utterly perfect, & I don't think anything could bring me down right now.
