"Hurry dear, there's people waiting," my mother ushered me through the metal detectors.

"I'm going, mom," I replied as I had shouldered my bag.

"Not fast enough, dear," she sounded rushed & exasperated.

I felt that same way now as I was being pushed & shoved by other people, desperately clinging onto Jack's hand as to not lose him. We passed though the metal detectors, & retrieved our things.

"Right this way, please," a feminine voice said as she ushered people in the right direction. Jack & I boarded the plane together without the company of the rest of the guys. We found our seats & I took mine by the window while Jack placed himself next to me on the left. An elderly woman sat down to Jack's left & smiled at us both before turning her attention somewhere else.

"You ready?" Jack asked with an eager expression.

"Definitely," I replied, making Jack grin.

"Oh, there's Alex and Zack," I said, pointing a few rows behind us. I waved to Zack who smiled & waved back.

"& there's Rian," Jack said, pointing to the seat in front of me.

"Flight four-thirteen to Baltimore, Maryland now prepared for lift-off. Please buckle your seat belts & turn off any electronic device you may have. Thank you," the captain said, & we all did as instructed. A stewardess went over all the safety tips on what to do if we were to crash, but I'd heard it enough times to be able to zone it out.

"Jacky, I'm tired," I complained about an hour later. I looked at him & pouted.

"Well then go to sleep. I won't leave you by yourself," Jack said with a small chuckle. I kissed him softly & rested my head on his shoulder with a sigh. Within minutes, I was fast asleep.

Jack~~

"You two are both utterly adorable," a voice piped up from beside me. I jumped slightly & I looked over, realizing it was the elderly woman.

"Oh, well thank you," I replied with a small smile.

"Oh it's not a problem, dear. I'm on my way to Baltimore to meet my grandchild," she said, & her eyes sparkled with tears.

"First time meeting?" I asked. She nodded.

"He was just born last week. I can't wait to hold him," she said, making me smile wider.

"I'm headed back to Baltimore so I can sleep in my own bed. It's been awhile," I replied, receiving an odd look.

"How so?" She asked.

"Well you see, I'm in a band," I said.

"Oh how fascinating!" The woman exclaimed.

"It's great. We just got off of Warped Tour. Had such a great time," I said, watching as Rian turned around in his seat as best he could.

"Hey Jack.. do you know if Matt's in second or third class?" He asked.

"No. Why? What are you up to?" I asked.

"Just wondering. Thanks," & he turned back around.

"Odd," I replied. The next four hours were spent with me talking to the elderly woman, who's name I learned was Marilyn.

"Well Marilyn, it was a pleasure meeting you," I said softly as everyone started to get up & make their way off the plane.

"You too, Jack," she said, & she grabbed her stuff & retreated. I turned to Becca & gently shook her shoulder.

"Hmmph," she groaned, making me chuckle.

"Wake up, baby. We've gotta go," I said, & her eyes fluttered open, making my heart stop for a split second as her beautiful eyes met mine. I helped her up after she un-buckled her belt. We both grabbed our things and trudged off the plane, desperate to get off.

We were finally home.
