You Had Me At Hello

After my second pizza sandwich I got really warm. "Why's it so hot in here?" I asked. I stood up and started to pull my sweat pants down. I looked up and seen the guys faces. "What are you staring at?" I laughed.
"You're with a group of boys and you're taking your pants off. What do you think we're staring at?" Neil asked
"I have shorts on. Relax, I'm not stripping for you guys" I laughed.
"Damn right she's not" Zack said. I smiled at him then at the rest of the guys.
"Besides, I'm not drunk" I winked before going to check my phone. I had a text so I opened it, it was Max. It said "you do know Franks not going to talk to you now he's with Hayley. You'll just be a pathetic lonely whore. Haha, fuck you" I had tears in my eyes. I knew Frank and I would probably drift further apart but I didn't think that once he started talking to Hayley he's stop talking to me. I got up and ran up to my room.

"Rebecca. Are you okay?" Gaskarth asked
"Perfectly fucking fine" I mumbled into my pillow. He came and sat on my bed. He put his hand on my back and rubbed it.
"What's up?" He asked me
"Alex, do you think I'm a pathetic whore?" I sat up and looked at him
"Of course I don't. Yeah, okay you've fucked someone but we all have. Even me I know" he joked, trying to make me laugh. "Why?"
"I got a text from Max telling me that because Franks speaking to this girl Hayley he'll never talk to me and I'll be a pathetic lonely whore" I cried. He pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest.
"You won't be a pathetic lonely whore Rebecca. Okay, if Frank did stop speaking to you, you'd have us" he smiled
"Thanks Alex. I fucking hate Max's guts" I said, still into his chest
"I know, Rebecca, I know. Do you want to know a secret?" He asked, pulling me up. I smiled and nodded, it felt like we were younger again. "Okay. You won't tell, will you?" He asked me
"Nope. Spill Gaskarth" I smiled at him.
"Well. You know when you left the last time you were here?" He said and I nodded. "Do you want to know what Jack told me the day you left for the airport?"
"Just tell me, Alex!" I laughed.
"Fine. He said he had a crush on you" he smiled at me, I blushed then spoke up
"That was five years ago and a stupid crush Alex" I mumbled
"That's where you're wrong. When you were on the phone to Frank he sent me a text" I looked up at him. "You wanna see it?" I nodded and he got his phone out of his pocket. It said "Alex, dude. You know what I told you like five years ago?" And he texted back. "Yeah, that you had a crush on Rebecca?" Jack's reply was "Yup. Emm...I think that maybe it wasn't just a little fucked up crush. She looks beautiful. I think I like her"
"Didn't you text him back after that?" I smiled at Alex's phone
"Nah, I just looked over at him and gave him a thumbs up" Alex laughed. "Ready to come back down to the basement now?" He asked me. I nodded
"Alex. Can I tell you something?" I asked him. This time he nodded. "you smell really nice" I laughed before running down to the basement with him following me.

"Sorry about that. Max" I explained as I got back to the basement
"It's fine. Ew, that dick" Josh said. I smiled at him and went to sit beside Jack. Alex looked over at me and smiled which made me blush remembering the text Jack sent him saying he thought I looked beautiful.
"Yeah. That dick, what can we do?" I asked, leaning back and shivering. It surprisingly got colder since I'd been in my room. Jack noticed and gave me his hoodie again, I smiled at him. "Thanks, Jack" and put it on. "Well. What're we gonna go?" I asked again
"I think Matty's party is tonight. We could go there?" Jeremy suggested.
"We could. Rebecca, would you mind going to a party?" Zack asked me
"Nope. I just need to get changed so I look acceptable" I smiled. I heard Jack say something under his breath
"You always look acceptable" I turned a bit red. "Right. I'll be twenty minutes top" I said before getting up to get ready. I put on my white New Found Glory tank and a tight black skirt that was short but not too short. I shoved my feet into my black hi top Converse, took my hair out of it's pony and redid my eyeliner before running back down to the guys. "Ready" I smiled and they turned round to me
"Wow" Neil said as he looked at me
"Dude. That's my sister" Zack laughed
"Hey, she said she'd date me" Neil laughed back
"She also said she'd date me" Jack winked at them. I laughed.
"Are we going or?" I said. They all stood up and we walked up to the cars.

"Sup Matty" Alex(not Gaskarth) and Rian said at the same time
"Hey guys. Who's that?" Matty asked, smiling at me
"Hi, I'm Rebecca. Zack's sister" I smiled back at him, offering my hand for him to shake it and he did.
"Well, Rebecca. Zack's sister. It's nice to meet you, I'm Matty" he said
"Come get a drink with me" Jack said to me
"Sure. Bye Matty" I waved at him and walked away with Jack. "Jack, what's up? You seem distant" I said as we got to the kitchen
"What do you mean?" He asked, sipping from a red cup. He poured me a drink and I took it.
"You just seem pissed off" I said, over the music playing. He took my hand and led me outside where it was quieter. "So?" I asked
"I'm just glad you're back" he said. I knew he was lying.
"Jack. Tell me the truth" I said, looking up at him. I was just under his shoulders when I didn't tip toe.
"Matty" he said before looking away
"What about him?" I asked, confused
"I didn't like the way he was looking at you. He looked at you as if you were just a piece of meat" he explained, still not looking at me.
"Jack. Look at me" I said and he did. "I don't want to sound rude but why do you care how he looks at me?" I mumbled
"I better just tell you. I know you've only just came back but Rebecca. You're absolutely beautiful. I had a sort of crush on you five years ago but seeing you again just made me realise that it wasn't just some stupid crush. Rebecca, I like you okay. I get you probably don't feel how I feel but I don't care. I'm doing this" he said and he leaned down and kissed me. I put my hands on his chest and pulled away.
"Jack. I can't do this right now" I said, my hands still on his chest
"What do you mean right now?" he asked me. He looked devastated.
"I just came out of a relationship, Jack." I said, I hated making him feel like this. He looked down at his shoes. "I do like you Jack. You're amazing in every way. I just don't know when I'd feel ready to be in a relationship" I said and he just sort of looked at me. "Do it again in a few weeks, Jack" I said and a smile spread across his face.
