You Had Me At Hello

This was the last day I'd spend in New Jersey this year. I was moving to Baltimore to live with my mom and brother. I woke up and threw a pillow at the body on the couch in my room. "Doofus. Get up" I said laughing
"But I'm enjoying sleeping" Frank, my best friend yawned.
"I leave today" my smile faded. That woke him up.
"No! Don't leave me" Frank sighed as he got up and walked over to my bed. "I don't want you to go" he said put his arms around me.
"I know Frank. But I need to meet my mom, and the sooner I get away from here and Max the better" I said hugging him
"Fuck him Rebecca. He's a douche" Frank said, growling at the floor.
"I did, and I must say he wasn't that good" I laughed. Frank looked at me in disgust
"I told you never to talk to me about it again" he said before laughing.
"Sorry Frankie" I giggled. "I need to get ready. And so do you, you said you'd take me to the airport" I smiled. He huffed before agreeing. "Okay. I'm gonna get changed in the toilet then we can switch so you can brush your teeth and perfect your hair" I laughed before ruffling his head and getting up. I was gonna miss Frank. He's my best friend, I tell him everything. I don't know what I'll do without him. We swore that we'd keep talking, even though I'll be in Baltimore, we couldn't just stop talking. He'd been my best friend for as long as I can remember. My best memory is when we were thirteen we became blood brother and sister. I have the scar on the palm of my hand as a memory.
"Frank. You decent?" I called from outside my bedroom door. He shouted a yeah at me so I walked in.
"Once I'm finished getting ready we better head. You don't want to miss your flight" he said and walked to the bathroom.

"Promise me we'll talk every day" I cried into Frank's shoulder as we reached security at the airport
"I promise" he said, comforting me.
"I'll phone you as soon as I get there okay? And I'll tell you any gossip when it happens" I laughed and wiped my tears.
"I'll be waiting" he laughed too. "I'll miss you Becks" he sighed
"I'll miss you too Frankie" I sighed back, before picking up my backpack and heading on my way.
"I love you Becks!' Frank shouted to me
"I love you too Frankie! I'll phone you when I land" I shouted back, still crying and walked away. I wiped my tears and waited in the queue for security.

I ran to a payphone as soon as I landed and dialled Frank's number.
"Rebecca!?" He asked
"Frank" I jumped up and down. "I've landed. I'm just looking for Zack and my mom" I said
"How was the flight?" Frank asked
"Okay" I said looking around. "I mean I had my ipod so I pretty much listened to music the full flight" I laughed. "Listen, Frank. I've just spotted Zack and my mom, I need to go. Text me later okay?" I asked
"Okay. Bye Becks, love you" he said
"Bye Frankie, love you too" I said and hung up. I picked up my giant case and backpack and started walking towards my mom and Zack. "Mom. Zack" I shouted and they turned round. Zack came running up to me and took my case off of me.
"Hi Rebecca" he smiled. It'd been ages since I'd seen my big brother. "The guys are in the parking lot waiting" he said. The guys meant his friends Jack, Rian, Alex, Alex, Jeremy, Kevin, Neil and Josh. I suppose they were good guys but I hadn't seen them in about five years. I came here for summer when I was twelve and constantly hung around with Zack and his friends, they treated me like one of the guys. I was cool with that, I hope they did the same now because I still wasn't fully over Max.
"I've not seen them in ages" I smiled. "Where's mom gone?" I asked, noticing that we were walking out of the door.
"She just wanted to make sure you landed safely. She's off to work now" he said.
"We have an empty house and the guys are here? Mom trusts you now?" I joked
"Yup, she hid all the booze though and made sure no one had any in their bags or in their cars" he said
"Bags?" I asked
"Yeah. We're going camping tomorrow so they're staying at ours tonight. Didn't I tell you? You're coming too" Zack said before I heard a bunch of voices
"Nope, didn't tell me" I laughed before I walked up to the guys. "Hi" I laughed as they all stared at me. Kevin spoke first.
"You have boobs now" he pointed at me chest.
"Surprisingly I do. I am a girl and boom, the beauty of puberty" I laughed before he opened his arms for a hug. I ran into them. "Same old Kevin" I mumbled happily.
"I want a hug" Jeremy said, pulling me out of Kevin's arms and hugging me
"Hi Jeremy" I laughed hugging him back. I hugged Alex, Josh then Neil then turned to Rian, Jack and Alex. Rian opened his arms and I ran to him. I really missed these guys. "Ri" I smiled
"Good to see you again, Rebecca" he smiled back
"Gaskarth. I see you've grown" I joked, he was smaller than me when we were younger.
"I've not only grown in height" he smiled and winked at me. I laughed and shook my head at him. He ran over to me and hugged me. "Missed you, shorty" he said
"Missed you too, lanky" I smiled then pulled away from the hug. "Jack" I smiled, looking over at him.
"What, I just get a Jack?" He smiled then pouted. I laughed
"Sorry, sorry. Let me start that again. Oh my fuck. Jack, the one man I love. I've missed you so my dear" I joked and ran into his arms, wrapping my legs around him and kissing his cheek. "Better?" I asked, smiling before getting off of him
"A bit" he winked at me. We all split into cars. Jeremy, Alex, Kevin, Neil and Josh got into Jeremey's and me, Zack, Rian, Jack and Alex got into Zack's. I was stuck in the middle since I was the smallest.
"Zack. Put this on" I said to Zack, handing him my Blink-182 cd from my backpack.
"It better not be Justin Bieber, I swear to God" Jack laughed. All The Small Things started playing and Jack looked at me weirdly.
"You think I'm that kind of girl Jack?" I asked, acting shocked
"Well. Now I don't" he laughed as my phone vibrated in my pocket. I attempted to stand up a bit to get my phone out my pocket to see who it was. I looked and it was Max so I turned my phone off and threw it in my bag.
