This Ones Different

*Jack POV*

I was playing guitar in my room when I heard someone open the front door. "Jack?!" Alex called from down stairs
"I'm up in my room" I yelled back, I put down my guitar and stood up. Alex opened the door. "Jack I need to talk to you." Alex sounded worried, is this going to be another game of 'guess what's going on'. I sat on my bed and Alex sat next to me. "Jack, is there something you are not telling me?"
I stood up. "What? Why would you think that I tell you everything?" Alex stood up "I know but when I was at work Rian came in, when I told him about Lisa, and me moving in with you he seamed REALLY shocked and worried"
well fuck Rian knows everything about my feeling towards Alex, he is who I went to when I needed someone to talk to, of course he thinks Alex living with me is a bad idea.
"So what did Rian say exactly?" i asked. I was really sacred, I knew Rian wouldn't tell Alex but I was still scared. Can you blame me?
"He asked who's idea it was to have me staying here, I told him it was mine. He asked if that was a good idea. I don’t know what he meant but he sounded really worried. When I asked him what he was talking about he said it was nothing and just walked away." Alex said

Oh thanks Rian that doesn't look suspicious at all! I mentally slapped him. "That's all that happen?"i asked Alex nodded, we both sat back down on the bed.

"So Jack, are you guys.... Are you keeping something from me? You know you can tell me anything" Alex placed a hand on my shoulder.
I shook my head, looking down avoiding his eyes. "Really Jack? Because I feel like there is something you’re not telling me!"
Why is this boy so stubborn? "Lex I'm just worried about you, I don't like seeing you sad." Alex nodded "well I'm going to lie down, see you later Jay" Alex left and a few moments later I heard his door shut. I flopped down on my bed. Fuck, Alex can't find out about my feelings for him. It will ruin everything; our friendship will go down the drain. Alex is my everything, i'd rather hold my feelings in then loose him completely, out of everyone in the world why did I have to fall for him? I've been feeling this way for so long ever since 10th grade, I just fell in love and that was that. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of someone knocking on my door. Alex peeped his head around the corner, I sat up. "Hey Jack? Wanna go and do something I don't want to stay inside all day."

"I thouhgt you were going to lay down?" i asked, he shook his head.
"I wanna go somewhere."

"Well where do you want to go?"
"I kinda was thinking we could do to the beach?"
"Sure Lex! The beach sounds great! Let me get ready" Alex nodded
"I'll go pack a bag, I'll make sandwiches" He shut the door and I head him run down stairs. Well this will be fun a beach day with Alex!!

~The Beach~

the ride here was fun, Alex and I blasted music and rocked out!
Alex and I found a great spot; we laid down our towels and sat down our selves. I looked at Alex " Its funny how we were going to go to Ladybug Land today's"i said. Alex looked at me

"oh yeah I forgot about that, sorry by the way" Lady bug land is a place me and Alex found in 8th grade, we were walking up these hills and got lost, we stumbled on this field Full of lady bugs, they were everywhere! It looked so peaceful and you could see the sun set right over the mountains and the starts would light up the sky at night, it was absolutely beautiful.
"So are you going to tell me what happen with you and Lisa?"
Alex turned towards me
"Yeah sure, well I came home and I called for Lisa, she didn't answer at first I thought she was hurt, so I ran to her room, when I got there she was in bed with some guy on top of her. We yelled back and forth for a little bit and I said it was over for good and stormed out, I just got in my car and drove, then I ended up at your house, I didn't realize I was crying till I got there, and well you know the rest" I still can't believe Lisa did this to Alex, wait no Lisa cheating is nothing new; I just don't know why Alex stayed with her for this long.
"I'm sorry dude" i said placing my hand on Alex's shoulder. Alex shook his head
"its okay, I'm glad it's over, I'm having more fun with you then I ever did with her"
I smiled, I'm glad that I make Alex happy; my goal everyday is to make him smile. Alex stood up
"Wanna do in the water"
"I'll go in soon let me finish setting up" Alex nodded and took off. This boy really loves the water! I finished setting everything when I heard my phone ring; I searched through the bag for it. When I found it I saw Rian was calling me
"Hey Rian"
"Jack what is this I hear of Alex living with you"

"Yeah he told me you two talked, Rian don't act so worried out me and Alex, he came home all questioning."
"I'm sorry Jack but are you sure Alex staying with you is a good idea? He can stay with me and Cass if you want"-
"No, no it's okay Rian"
"Jack are you sure? You know what happen lat time”
"Yes Rian now I got to go, I'm at the beach with Alex, bye"
"Bye Jack Be careful"
"I will"
-end call-

I looked up from my phone and looked at the ocean, I saw a couple of little kids playing, wait Where ALEX? I started to panic I didn't see him anywhere! "Alex!" I called out, no response. I ran towards the water calling for Alex, "Alex!" I still didn't see him. I dived into the water and swam to the last I saw him. "Alex! ALEX! Where are you?" I stayed in that spot looking for him. Oh god no I can't loose him, what happen what if he's De-
"BOO"
"AH!!"
I turned around to see Alex dying of laughter, I splashed water at him "That's not funny Alex."
"ha-ha you should have seen your face!!" Alex was laughing so hard he couldn't breath
"it's not funny you Dick I thought you were dead" i splashed water at him again.
"Oh come on Jack lets have some fun!" Alex splashed water at me. I splashed water back at him.
"Can't catch me" Alex said swinging away "we'll see about that!" I swam after him. After Alex and I swam around for awhile I started to get hungry "hey Alex!? Want to go eat?!" Alex swam closer to me "sure"

We got back to the towels and dried ourselves off a little bit. I looked over at Alex. Oh god he looked so good, he skin was tan and had little beads on water dripping down from his hair on to his chest making him shine. Alex looked like someone out of a movie, he's just so perfect In every way shape and form, and he doesn't even know it. I have found many people attractive before but this one’s different, it’s stronger. “Jack?” my thoughts of Alex were interrupted "Wha- yeah?"
"Ha! You zoned out on my chest, it's okay one time I zoned out on this guys eye brow and I didn't even know!"
Ha-ha what? This dude is so weird
"Alex that doesnt make any se-"

"One time I zoned out on this big guys man boob at a Taco Bell and he got up and started yelling at me because he thought I was judging him!" Alex threw his head back laughing, he tossed me my sandwich.
"What are you even-"
"OOH! One time in junior year I went to the bathroom to pee and zoned out on my penis, some guy came in and asked if I was okay because I was staring at my thing for like 4 minutes." He laughed; I took a bite out of my sandwich.

"You just love to talk dont you?"
Alex shrugged his shoulders "I like to talk about funny things i guess." I nodded "I know"

“man Lex these sandwiches are amazing!” Alex blushed a little, god him blushing will be the death of me!
“So Jack, why exactly did Venn leave for?” I looked up remembering the horrible thing that happen that day, Alex scooted closer to me. “Whoa Hey, what’s wrong?” I looked up at Alex.

“Venn came home really drunk one night, his mother just passed away and he was starting to develop a drinking problem, when he came home he started yelling at me saying it was my fault his mother died.” Alex interrupted me “was it?” I opened my eyes wide in shock “what? Of course it wasn’t my fault!” He nodded "Okay. just checking"

i shook my head “He was blaming me for his mother, he was yelling at me, he slapped me and threw a picture frame at me, after that he” I felt my eyes start to fill with tears. “He tried to apologize, and then started kissing me” yeah it’s true so he kinda stormed out when I denied his kisses. “Aw Jay I’m sorry” I wiped my eyes “its okay I’m fine now” Alex patted me on the back “Okay you go wash off all this sand I’ll pack up” I stood up “why does sand stick together? and why often near my butt whole?” Alex laughed at my stupid joke“I know right! You’re one of a kind Jack, you know that right?”

I nodded. So are Alex, you just don’t know it.

*time laps back at the house*

I was in bed looking out my window thinking about my day with Alex. See I can hang out with my best friend without losing control of myself. Rian’s wrong this will turn out just fine, I should be happy that Lex is even here, since he got back together with Lisa its like he fell off the face of the earth, he didn’t speak to me for a whole month or 2, I wonder why? Maybe I only exist when he needs me? No that’s not true shut the fuck up brain. Alex cares about me I know it. Sometime I think he does love me and Other times I feel like I should go. My thoughts were interrupted by Alex knocking on my door. “Jack?” his voice was quite, he kinda sounded like that girl from Frozen Ha Elsa? Ha. “Jack? Are you awake?” I sat up

“yeah Lex is everything okay?” Alex walked into my room. “Yeah I just couldn’t sleep, I was kinda wondering… I was wondering if I could sleep with you.” Alex looked down sort of blushing. I pulled back the covers “oh course you can, come here” Alex looked up and smiled. “Thank you Jay” Alex climbed into bed and cuddled up right next to me, He laid his head on my chest. I tensed up for a little bit, Ah fuck it. I wrapped my hands around him and he hummed, I could feel the warmth of Alex’s breath hitting my chest. I closed my eyes, what’s a better way of falling a sleep then having the one you love most wrapped in your arms?
“Thank you Jack” Alex looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back. Then he did something I never thought he would do in a million years…. He kissed my cheek.

Notes

I had to cut this Chapter short because my stupid sister is threatening she is going to watch supernatural without me if i don't hurry up. (sorry if it sucks the story gets better i swear)
